I know, which is one of the reason I stated I hated him so freaking much...but he was the LAST head coach we had that had winning seasons.

No. With Pilbin we still would've gone 7-9 or 6-10 because that's who he was.

Fin D I agree with you about DW but Philbin did nothing but got rid of Pro Bowlers and Play Makers and as much I couldn't stand Jeff Irland, his defense would be is " hey I brought in good players and playmakers but Joe got rid of them so this is what we have

I dunno, I can't think of a defensive player Ireland brought in I'd have taken over a defensive starter from Wannidiot's hey day. I think Philbin did more with less and Wanndouche pissed away careers of some all time great Dolphins.

Its so bad, Greenpeace lists Wanndumbass at #3 as the worst dolphin killer after #1 Japan and #2 Sea World. (But ahead of #4 Jim Kelly and #5 Sammie Smith)

    From Armando, but anyway:

Even as the Miami Dolphins wade through the first steps of their current head coaching search, some members of their search committee have favorite candidates early on. One of those is club owner Stephen Ross, who has the ultimate and final say on who his team hires.

And I have been told by multiple people that Ross most likes Adam Gase at the start of these interviews.

I'd be fine with Gase, and the Coughlin/Campbell combo is another good one. Mike Shanahan- for me that's a vomit inducing thought. He has the experience, I just don't like him nor do I want a guy like that leading the team. The way he caused the RG III injury and excused himself from responsibility was disgusting.
