I watched a replay of Raw and WWE got it right. Thats how you sell/promote Reigns, by making him champion on Raw and also bringing back Vince to sell him to everyone watching. Vince used to walk in the arenas in boos, now everyone cheers and goes on an uproar whenever he decides to show up to an event.

It kind of reminds me of Goldberg beating Hogan on Nitro. Everyone kept saying it was a mistake they would have made a ton of money over payperview, but the idea was to introduce the new face of the company to everyone. They never showed video replay of payperviews it was always screencaptures.

But i cant help but think this sets up Triple H vs Reigns in Wrestlemania and Triple H wins..

Yeah I think Triple H vs. Reigns at WM is pretty close to a lock right now, unless they hot shot it for the Rumble. Then run Brock/Reigns 2 since Brock really doesn't have a credible opponent right now.

 

Well triple h is all "beaten and hurt" because Reigns beat him to a pulp.. This sets up a surprise return as the 30th contestant of the royal rumble..

 

Which kind of drives me crazy because Triple H showed up 3 days later after the beatdown on NXT Take Over and was fine. But hey I can understand because Vince nor the creative team actually watch NXT.

By the way the new "rumor" going around is that Triple H is going to abuse his power and put himself in a title match at WM against Reigns but Reigns will always have to face the winner of the Rumble too. I'm not sure how I feel about that but I'm sure the WWE is thinking "hey it worked for Daniel Bryan".

 

The Rock confirms he will be at Wrestlemania, likely a non wrestling role since he has movie deals on the line and tore an ab muscle when he fought Cena.

Hey guys, quick question regarding the wwe network. On tuesday the network will be finally available in germany. Can multiple users use a single WWE Network account at the same time? For example, my girlfriend watches total divas on the ipad, while I watch summerslam 1998 on our smart tv?

I think its like Netflix where two users can use the same account at the same time. I've watched the Network on my iPad and my Smart TV at the same time before and they both worked fine.

 

Having the WWE title be on the line at the Rumble is an interesting idea. Definitely makes the match itself more meaningful. Wonder if Reigns will be the #1 entry as he has to "defend it". I'd love to see Triple H be #30 and win the title just so the internet goes crazy.

Also the WWE has signed AJ Styles, Doc Gallows, Karl Anderson and Shinsuke Nakamura to deals. If nothing else it will keep NXT being awesome for awhile.

I for one, see one of two things happen:

Rock screws Lesnar, while HHH beats Reigns to win title at RR setting up LEsnar/Rock and HHH/Reigns at mania.

Or...

HHH screws Reigns having Lesnar win the title, setting up triple threat for the title at Mania. Possibly involve the rock for fatal 4 way, depending on his insurance/movie contract if he can actual wrestle.

Lots of options imo

 

Another cool fantasy booking someone on reddit mentioned is have the bullet club, possibly with Balor, attacking and running the entire roster after mania through the summer.....beating Reigns, beating Ambrose, beating everyone and basically running the roster rampant ala NWO....

Then when Rollins is healthy, have the shield come out at summerslam and defeat them, setting up some matches like Styles/Rollins etc. Would be amazing.

 

There is no way that Vince would let a bunch of New Japan and TNA guys run rampant on the WWE roster. It would be great but it's not going to happen.

 

Considering Meltzer just said WWE paid huge unheard of money for Shinsuke Nakamura and Styles, he said there is no way they go to NXT for the money they paid, it was more than Balor....much much more he said.

So we will see. Def not in the way the fantasy booking says, but they wont be nxt mid carders either.

 

Now that would be incredible. Which means it won't happen and those guys will be jobbing to Cena and Reigns on RAW and Smackdown all year.

Sadly that's probably true.

Would love to see it but until the WWE proves they will get behind someone they didn't create or "make" I bet those guys spend most if not all of the year in NXT learning how to wrestle the WWE style.

 

I look forward to WWE screwing up what they have in Styles, Who can flat-out go.

 

Isn't it sad that the #1 wrestling company in the world gets top notch talent and people have no confidence in them using them well?

Like I said, silver lining is it means the NXT will continue to be great next year with the new talent coming in.

 

Cena needs shoulder surgery and could be out as long as 6 to 9 months and will miss WM. This obviously screws up plans for WM, wonder where this leaves Undertaker as Cena was his rumored opponent. I doubt the WWE will run Taker/Reigns as they might be worried Reigns would be showered with boos during the match. Maybe Kevin Owens?

The WWE is really lacking star power right now and this news is a huge blow.

 

Prepare for the least viewed WM in history.. Dont be shocked if Sting is Undertakers opponent should he be healthy..

Theyre trying to fill out that giant stadium too... Maybe its time to forgive Hogan lol

 

No way it will be the least viewed WM, it will still have a good buy rating because of the name value of the event alone but the WWE can kiss their dreams of drawing 100k goodbye, even if ticket sales have been pretty good so far.

Again this should be a good opportunity for the WWE to continue to push new stars.

I'm sure they were starting to panic in Stamford right now though.

 

Though I am not a fan of Super Jern Cena, I will say that his absence for most of the year, especially during WM season is a big one. Counting on Reigns to shoulder the load seems to be a bit much. They are going to need alot of Brock to help things and it is no surprise that they finally decided to bring along Styles and Nakamura to aid in this. It has been a rough few years for Vince, WWE lost Punk and Bryan practically at the peaks of their popularity. Two guys that sold a ton of merch and moved the ratings needles. Cena isnt getting any younger, Orton is a walking injury. It is no wonder that they strapped a rocket to Reigns' back.

I would love to see Kevin Owens get pushed into the main event, maybe his little tussle with Brock on Monday was a sign of things to come?? A program with him and the upcoming Bullet/Balor club has tons of potential. Think of the awesome storylines and matchups they can have with K. Owens and Styles/Finn Balor? How bout a lengthy program between a returning Seth Rollins and Balor/Styles?? I dont think they are quite smart enough to go full-fledged with a Balor Club v. Shield Reunion feud but that thing would print money IMO. Just think back to how HOT all of those Evolution/Shield and Wyatts/Shield matches were?? I just think they are going full-speed ahead with this Reigns push and they may be apprehensive in turning Seth face after doing such a bang-up job as the top heel in the company. There are definitely some exciting possibilities ahead though.

 

According to Meltzer, the WWE has decided on the finish to the Royal Rumble which will lead to a big Fast Lane PPV in February as the WWE doesn't want it to be just a throwaway PPV.

Currently the main event for WM32 is going to be Triple H vs. Roman Reigns. The original plans were going to be Triple H vs. Rollins and Reigns vs. Cena but once Rollins got hurt Cena was scheduled to face The Undertaker but with Cena out Taker doesn't have an opponent right now. As of now The Rock isn't going to be wrestling at WM due to him filming Baywatch The Movie due to insurance issues.

Meltzer also states that Tyler Breeze was brought up to the main roster by Triple H because H viewed him as the heel version of Dolph Ziggler but Vince didn't see him at that level and thus stopped that push.

 

Rumors are strong wrestlemania 33 will be in Orlando. If so I am going for my 30th birthday

Yeah last I heard it was between Minnesota, Philly and Orlando.

 

I hope its in Orlando, id have to make the short drive up there. I went to WM 28 in Miami and it was an experience ill never forget. That Hell in a Cell between Taker and HHH was worth the price of admission.

 

Looks like there might be more to the wyatt family/dudley boyz after their tables match.

Was a little cheap win the dudleyz had today, pushed him off the steps to the table lol ugly finish.. Then again i guess we shouldnt expect a TLC match like the classic between Edge/Christian vs Hardy Boys vs Dudleys for the tag titles back then..

 

Im just happy their putting more fun stuff on Smackdown

 

Roman Reigns needs a manager like Paul Heyman to talk for him.. Watching the start of raw and this guy just cant speak at all. Cringing

Yeah, which makes me think hes gearing up for another run, I mean it already seems like Vince vs Austin 2.0 so maybe they go fully down that route and have him win the RR again

 

Vince is 70 years old now, there's no way he's getting into the ring and wrestle Reigns, especially as WWE Champion in the main event at WM. Triple H is going to be the one in the Vince role and most likely going to be the 30th guy in the Rumble and win the title and face Reigns at WM32 in the main event for the title because the WWE is hell bent on giving Reigns his WM moment holding the title up while balloons fall from the ceiling.

People that are sick of LOLCenaWins are probably going to hate Reigns very soon. I really question having Reigns go in at #1, obviously for storyline purposes it makes total sense but I just can't see Reigns hanging in the Rumble for 45 plus minutes and being there at the end without him spending a lot of time on his back while putting on a good match. This match is being set up to truly showcase Reigns as "The Guy" but I think the fans are going to turn on Reigns (again) especially if he's going up against fan favorites like Brock.

 

If Lesnar isn't in the WWE title match at WM, he's going to most likely wrestle Bray Wyatt or a combination of Wyatt Family members. There have been talks about a Lesnar/Wyatt feud for WM as far back as November.

 

Are you kidding me, i never hesrd a more vapid, uninspiring voice than Reigns last night..

And i still think Triple H wins the Rumble and the championship, Reigns beats Triple H in Wrestlemania to get the title back.

I just dont understand Lesnar just leaving, not getting revenge on Wyatt?

 

Also makes sense HHH winning. If you are doing HHH Vs Reigns at WM, you need to have the face going after the belt, not the other way around
