Play action pass. Swing pass to the back in the flat who already had linebacker eyes on him. This offense is explosive.
This Tannehill guy really loves the script. No open receiver? Check down for 1 yard. Wish he'd roll out. He could probably run for 3-4 before a defender gets to him if not the first down. If he rolls laterally, he could even draw the defender on Miller and make a pass. If that's Cam, the defender can't just cover Miller because Cam is capable of breaking one. He has to start using his head.
Really would like to get a WR who can fly in this draft. But if we can re sign Reshard...that's a pretty damn good three...Parker, Landry, Mathews
He should have stepped up and away from that one... You expect Fox to at least do a decent job blocking, but he had a lane to escape.
I disagree. Don't think he could step up with that one. Maybe anticipate the throw to Jarvis or another WR. But not much he can do about moving away from that sack. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
That TD pass to Brandon Marshall tho... Free rusher. Up the middle. And Fitz got rid of it and on target. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
When has David Carr ever looked like Tannehill in his career? Tannehill may have not stepped up and progressed to be a franchise QB but he's at least average. David Carr never shown to be average even considering the beating he took.
Carr had a passer rating of 83 his last year in the league. Tannehills is 87 this year. Considering the difference in today's game. I'd say that's pretty similar. Tannehill has had plenty more flashes, and is the better talent. But in terms of being trigger shy. Taking the short routes, etc. he's becoming Carr. I assumed that's what you meant by becoming Carr? If not, please elaborate? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
