To be fair, I think those things were a given when he did get promoted, so I don't think it can be looked at like he did that without the approval of the higher ups, Coyle I think they all knew had to go, and Lazor had to be post Philbin evaluated.

Well I don't think it's realistic to go 3-0 to finish the season, not saying we can't do it, just that I don't think it's realistic, and so far too many Ross hirings had to accept too much, I want someone to come in here with a clean slate.

If you guys are right then I have no problem with Cambo.

He'd be a good candidate for an asst. HC somewhere, but not here.

Every coach we have needs to go. Its just time for a full on scrubbing.

I didn't expect Campbell to turn this sinking ship around. He accomplished about the same as what Philbin would have accomplished. What has been disappointing is the lack of discipline with stupid penalties that has plagued this team since he started coaching. While I don't blame him for the wins or losses, I think that is something that is very coachable.

I am done with Campbell now. To sit your best offensive threat is just stupid.

Campbell knows he's out the door. But he also knows there are a bunch of tough minded coaches who will grab him in a heartbeat. He will not be out of work long.

I'm starting to wonder if sitting Miller isn't a FO decision to keep his stats down so it's easier to resign him, 2 HCs and 2 OCs just in this year have used him in an almost identical way.

    Just food for thought.

If Miller or his agent think the organization is attempting to keep his stats down this season just so it will be easier to sign him. The Dolphins will have zero chance of him remaining with the team.

I think other organizations around the league are fully aware that he is a young and exciting RB and I think he is going to be the top RB in free agency. If the Dolphins think they can resign him at a bargain price, they are in for a rude awakening, IMO.

Campbell needs to go, he promised us a tough hard nosed football team, it worked for 2 games because of new vibe in the locker room i guess, but he failed just like philbin did to stick to the running game he has a new excuse for it every week, we have a jamal charles clone in Lamar Miller on this team, who is also a free agent at the end of the year and all he does is finding excuses to not give him the ball.Screw that "we were falling behind early" and "Ajayi did a good job" bull****, Lamar Miller needs to get the ball at least on a 2-1 ratio over Ajayi, he has earned that and he is not getting it, wonder if there is a certain incentive they donĀ“t want him to get or if they are thinking the less yards he gets, the cheaper he will be----i hope Miller is not leaving this offseason, that would be a disaster.

Never mind about the personnel decisions....Dallas Thomas....enough said

Not sure I agree with that. A Philbin led Dolphins team probably doesn't get those 2 impressive wins sparked by his departure. At least not both of them.

I think Campbell did improve this team slightly, which is an impressive accomplishment. But I don't think he did good enough to retain the job.

Remember when Philbum benched Reggie Bush for fumbling for a quarter????

    This is worse.

Wondered the same thing. I don't think Dan Campbell would be down for anything like that, but you never know? I would hate to think this would be the case. Imagine if something like that got out?

    Some things to consider:

    - Miller DID appear to be walking around gingerly the end of the first half a couple of games ago
    - Players want to play, and the thought of an incentive-based bonus even amid an injury gets the juices flowing
    - End of the year, and Campbell wants to get these young guys out there for others to see (given that the writing is pretty much on the wall)
    - Campbell is keeping Lamar from injuring himself further
    - And the circumstances in the game: playing catch up

Could be several of those factors in play. I would hate for an organization to be so stingy as to dictate coaching. I guess it wouldn't surprise me, but it's petty.
