"We didn't win enough games. We didn't score enough points. We didn't get in the end zone enough."

Dumb answers for dumb questions. I love it.

that was the most cunfusing short article ive ever read..wtf..

of course I understand that you want to be able to do everything on time and rhythm...this is not how the nfl works, the qb needs to move his spot constantly..
so because of the looks that the defense has given you all year you as a qb and staff have decided to shelf the read option, never run past the los unscripted, maybe if you lucky roll the qb once a game, and finally, just accept that your gonna be a statue in the pocket..

when you have protection problems you as the qb need to improvise some, this aint fu$$in rocket science, you sure as hell dont do the opposite by sitting in the pocket like a statue...lol..

    ''Tannehill on the move again''.......lol

this is funny stuff, the guys been getting killed, some of us have been saying the lack of movement and running is stifling him, we kept losing while cutting all running options about 60 to 70 percent, and now hes stoked because he bailed the pocket a couple times...

I swear if I ever see that dude Im gonna smack him in the head..

I wish I could put in a tape of ryan fitzpatricks drive to take the lead against dallas in the 4th...even though the guy has been average his whole career.

the man is constantly moving....lol...like almost every play..running past the los unscripted {three times}, rolling {three times}, climb and release {twice}...its hilarious to think of the difference in style of play..

thats movement relatively speaking, and how the guy compensates and utilizes every once of his talent to score.

then he does it again on the drive to win the game...all him...unreal..ryan freakin fitzpatrick getting it done with his legs and arm, sometimes legs by themselves, sometimes simutaneously, but always moving.

its just one example of how a qb singlehandidly wins a game.

    reporter asks fitz a question

''how bout all the moving around back there in the pocket?''

fitz..'' I like it, I like moving around, we made plays, its not a bad thing moving around back there.''

and our qb scrambles three times in a game and announces that it felt good to move around, and that they have been waiting for those looks from the defense.....lol...what a crock a sh$$

someone tape this to ryans locker....and tell him never to forget it.

The looks he's referring to are the ones that allowed him on the edge off the read option. There were 3 or 4 of those vs the Giants.

Tannehill scrambled to extend several plays, especially in the 2nd half, with some near misses on big plays to Landry and Parker. Guys have been asking for more of this for a long time. Finally we saw it.

But hey, some folks are gonna bash the QB no matter what.

What bugs me is that Landry dropped a pass that hit him in the numbers after Tannehill made a beautiful effort to escape pressure and get the ball out. Tannehill's pass was perfect and Landry choked. I mean, here you have your QB stepping up in a major way exactly how everyone wants him to and his supposed #1 target, this guy we're all supposed to respect SO much, goes and just drops it, killing the drive in the process.

And what does he do to redeem himself? He commits a needless personal foul at the end of the game to make sure the offense can't mount a drive to win. Don't even get me started on Parker's lackadaisical effort either. You want to make a statement as a coach? You want to know what a real coach would do?

Benching Landry for playing like an ******* would be a good start. Having Tannehill work directly with Parker to fix the disconnect we saw last week would be a good second.

I hate to say this but if these guys have so much they want to say about Tannehill, boy they must absolutely be ready to crucify the rest of this team.

    It's Tannehill this, Tannehill that.

    Shut the **** up.

    Please.

qb runs the team, most responsibility..hes been dormant for 12 games..

maybe just maybe he will correlate in his thick head that he played well last week BECAUSE he moved around, played off the script, and ran the read option.

ive said from the get he needs to play like this for him to become the best version of himself, instread he did the opposite all year, to the extreme..He does have the power to play the way he sees fit, no coach is againt their qb making plays..no matter what anyone says, thats all qb decision making, if coverage isnt there you make a play, if there is any lane ever, you make a play.

The pass wasn't perfect, it was shot out of a cannon at close range on a comeback, he's lucky he didn't get a broken finger.

Landry is a 63rd pick making like $600k. What exactly would the crucifxation be here? I think it's unanimous he is over targeted.

there is a hell of a lot of qbs in todays game running and threatening a defense with their legs, I mean a lot, every drive, all over, even ones who you dont associate it with..their constantly running and scrambling for first downs, its part of qb'ing...unfortunately someone needs to tell our qb to take part in the festivities...

Every day it's the same ****. Each. And. Every. Single. ****ing. Day.

What's the matter DJ, did you not think we read your posts yesterday...or the day before...or the day before that?

How many times are you going to say the same thing?

Why come here when it's just going to be the same 5-10 people talking about how **** Tannehill is.

Offer an opinion on some other headline. PLEASE.

its a thread about his movement and running...dont like it, then maybe he should do something about it to shut me up..and maybe you shouldn't talk sh$$ in a tannehill running thread..

four seasons, no playoffs, bad offensive production, all playing the qb strictly from the pocket..my turn to play the qb my way.

And here I am watching Landry's little butt buddy OBJ flat out punching Josh Norman.

I don't know what they put in the water down there at LSU but apparently it makes you act like a spoiled little child.

Don't really want to root for Suh and Vernon playing dirty. Don't really want to root for the LSU ego-trip either.

Seriously...I'm close to putting you on ignore.

You're a fine poster in the club fprum but out here in the mains it's like night and day.

You've been saying the same thing about Tannehill for days on end. Just stop. Please. Stop posting every 5 seconds about how much you don't like Tannehill.

And it's not like I can avoid it. You are creating a Tannehill argument in the defensive thread, too:

What do you want me to say here DJ?

It's not okay for you to do this no matter how important you think your opinion is to the forum.

Even if it was the most important thing....WE'VE ALREADY HEARD IT.

I'm not sure whats going on here. Ryan Tannehill will be the dominating topic of debate so long as:
    A) he plays the most important position
B)he has the largest disparity in opinions about his performance
    C) is one of the few players assured to be here under the new HC
    D) has a contract that will let the team move on with no dead money after 2016

Tannehill is the topic because Lazor was fired. Lazor was the topic because Philbin was fired. Philbin became the topic when Sherman and Ireland were let go. It's a procession of hostility from fans wanting someone to pin the blame on. So let's not pretend there's some high minded motive at play here.

Tannehill was a topic before those guys were fired. The reality is that the team has continually failed to succeed for a while now. These guys were the topics because they fill the most important roles. Theres a reason Campbell isnt a heated topic here - because everyone agrees on his performance. Lazor wasn't even a widely argued topic. Philbin was a topic because some actually thought he should have been retained.

I'm sure it would be great for everyone's morale if we could just say we need to replace the 3rd round guard or the kicker or the water boys, but the reality is that QB and HC are the biggest difference makers.

Greg you should at least be balanced in your critique if your problem is that you're hearing the same negative things about Tannehill day after day. People have also heard the same excuses (valid or not) for Tannehill's performance like forever. So.. maybe complain about that too?

You know, cbrad, that would be a valid argument...if we were constantly starting threads to debate Tannehill. Truth is, the defense occurs almost always in response to the people doing the critiquing.

Doesn't really matter how it starts. The point is it never ends. Some people don't feel like they have to have the last word while others feel like they need to. Get two (or more) of those on opposing sides and you get what you see here. Not that I mind as long as the exchanges are funny.

Most of this I agree with. But if Philbin were still the HC he would be the designated punching bag and Tannehill wouldn't be under fire the way he is now. Am I wrong there?
