Has been like this ever since they built the little nicky practice bubble. It is absolutely embarrassing to see our team gassed at home! My username used to be our home field advantage but it seems like a lifetime ago.

If he would've tucked and ran it, I wouldnt have thought he didnt have a killer instinct. Not going to harp on one play but i think as soon as he stepped up to avoid the all out rush he shouldve taken off. Obviously if he hits Landry on that play that wouldve been huge, but i think in the long run the right play is to take off and live with the results.

We had two legit scoring opportunities killed by penalties in the second half. The holding penalty that took us out of field goal range, I think it was a hold, and Landry's dumbass personal foul that backed us way up.

    But yeah, let's blame Tannehill.

Is Miller on a secret pitch count?? Serious question...he dominates the 1st half then ???

Fair enough, but if you look at the pic I posted of the play, he's going to get maybe 5 yards at the most, when he's got Landry wide open for the TD if he hits him. I'd prefer my QB see that, and go for it like he did, rather than tuck it and run for 5. Tuck it and run if nothings there.. .we'd all love to see that more than we get from Ryan, but this particular instance, to me, he made the right decision, he just made a **** throw.

I wasn't really referring to you in particular, but I think we all know though that it's probably safe to say if he ran, picked up a couple and we failed on 4th down for whatever reason, and a picture surfaces of Landry open on that play, everyone starts freaking out that he didn't see Landry, and can't process the field... blah blah blah... I have zero issues with his decision to throw it over running. Go for the big play, tie the game. Just... make the damn throw.

What goes unmentioned is that he had the pocket presence to step up and avoid the rush, too many times message wishing we have seen him panic and take a sack. The fact that he put himself in a position to make a play is a step in the right direction and something frankly I haven't seen too much of.

It will be interesting to watch these last few games

Aside from those with ridiculous hate agendas, everybody is saying that is the best Tannehill has looked.

I like where we are heading. Just get some coaches with brains.

And for God's sake run the freaking ball!!

Someone in the club posted a video of his pocket presence from year one. It was pretty eye opening to watch. What we saw last night, reminded me a lot more of what we saw in year one, that we haven't seen the last few. I thought his mobility in the pocket last night was good as well. The Giants having a poor DL that our OL was able to manage for the most part, had a lot to do with that I'd bet, but to me, it's a nice reminder that it's there in Ryan when there's time, if we can fix the OL and give him time.

It's not often I can sit back after a loss and see some positives, but there's definitely some from last night. Of course, there is also all the usual negatives still... penalties, mental issues, drops, defensive lapses giving up big plays, allowing a QB to almost be damn near perfect against us, abandoning the run when Miller was dominating... etc... etc.. .etc... :pity:

I wouldn't draft a QB because this QB class is weak, but I would entertain trading Tannehill and pick up a free agent stop gap still.

What do you think you could get for Tannehill?

Because of his contract wishful thinking would be a 2nd... most likely a 3rd. But I don't think I'd trade for less than a 2nd I'd just ride his contract out. Hopefully someone with more pieces in place than us who need a durable starting QB will be looking at Tannehill if the Dolphins put him on the market.

Just for perspective, #1 in the NFL in all purpose yds/Jarvis Landry, he'll top 2k one of the reasons why I will watch the games

Miller needs 221 yds for 1k

And Tannehill can hit 4k yds

    fun stuff

guess dan marino just never wanted it bad enough..... i guess elway didn't want it bad enough in the 4 losses? or jim kelly just didn't have a will to win?

guess barry sanders just never had it in him...... the whole "will to win" is ****ing stupid. tannehill getting his *** planted game after game, and getting back up every time is trying to will his team to win, but when your team is soft as wet toilet paper, doesnt amount to a pisshole in the snow.
