"I just want them to put themselves in position to lose"

    **** Omar.

They may be correct in what they are discussing, but he's such a douche.

I'm right there with Omar. I want to be wrong about Tannehill. I want him to be the guy because we ALL have been waiting for that guy. But my eyes and head are able to trump my heart, which tells me is an average to below average QB. Occasionally capable of doing some good things but not at the level that will ever allow us to be a contender.

He may be a douche, but he's correct. I don't think we ge Lynch or Goff during the draft. We would have to give up the entire draft and probably next years #1 also. Although I would seriously consider it.

It's easy to say we are better off if we lose Sunday night until Sunday morning, but when the game is actually on I find it very difficult to hope we lose. Especially to the ravens depleted or not, I cant stand those bastards

I like Omar, people don't like him cause he is often right. While I do not want to lose any games, I do agree it is time to get a new QB. However, if Tannehill suddenly gets it, I would be happy with that.

i really do get all the frustrations with our Qb, but its not all his fault. i dont see no tom brady on the horizon coming to rescue us. we have holes all over the team from coaching on down. to me he hasnt done too badly with what we have had to work with over the years. we need to fix the oline first, then run the ball more than 10 times a game, then we can pass judgement on him. i remember the days after marino when we had a string of really horrible qb play.

I know there are pages of arguments otherwise, but no one should look at yesterday and feel good or optimistic at this point. This team needs Hue Jackson in the worst way.

I don't see how we'll draft another QB unless Tannehill is traded, especially after the contract extension.

I am in the camp where the Dolphins should be drafting at least one QB in every draft until we finally get a franchise QB.

Then you end up like Cleveland.

You're going to leave your roster pretty bare if you're always using your first round pick on QB's.

Or maybe you stay with a subpar QB and wind up never getting above mediocre.

Pouncey's comment tells me there is a growing rift between Tannehill and some members of the locker room, much like what happened to Philbin. It's awfully hard to regain a locker room after it's been lost, so getting rid of Tannehill might be the only logical move we can make at the end of the season, cost permitting.

That being said, I'm not exactly infatuated with 2016's QB crop. Paxton Lynch is raw and shaky as a pocket passer. Jared Goff put up good numbers, but most of those stats were padded by weak teams. He struggled against good competition (see: Utah, UCLA, USC). Connor Cook is my least favorite of the bunch, as he's incredibly immature and in no way is capable of taking over an NFL franchise. Might as well call him a poor man's Ryan Leaf. Meanwhile, Cardale Jones reminds me of Troy Smith. You know, that Troy Smith.

There is definitely no clear-cut No. 1 QB this year, but there are a few sleeper prospects that I'm keeping my eye on. Kevin Hogan is my favorite, while Jacoby Brissett and Christian Hackenberg aren't far behind. I'd be happy with any of the three, but Hogan is absolutely the most pro-ready. Brissett and Hackenberg will need a bit of grooming, which is always an option if Miami targets a veteran stopgap in the offseason, or decides to roll the dice on Matt Moore.

Not many QB's have stellar, or even average, games against the Ravens. Take a look at Brady's numbers against them.

What? This year's Ravens? In fantasy football alone, they give up the 5th most points to QB's.

    That's why it's fantasy.

Their defense is tied in nearly every category with the Pats. I think they've allowed three 300yd passers this year.

    You're insane.

    They're ........

    -14th in yards against
    -12th in TD's against
    -32nd in producing INT's

They've given up FOUR 300 yard passers, and in two other games missed it by a hair (292 & 293 yards). QB's are averaging a 97.4 rating against them.

They allow the 6th worst passer rating to a QB this season and are bottom 5 in pass defense.

    Stop it.

Omar does a good enough job of discrediting himself. He doesn't need me for that.

And he's not spot on in his evaluation. Tannehill has struggled, but to blame all of the offensive struggles on him is foolish, and the notion that a team should try and lose is even more foolish. It shows how far removed Omar is from someone who actually is involved in the sport of football.

He didn't say "it's all his fault" and even tried to claim he's not trying to do that. But when he says "the putrid offense the Dolphins have displayed all season, the one that again sputtered in Sunday's 15-13 nail-biting win over the Baltimore Ravens, should make Tannehill's reign as the unchallenged starting quarterback come to an end." It certainly suggests that.

I disagree that was his intention, when your offense is as pathetic as ours...narurally the QB will be a huge part of the criticism.

    And he should be.

Wow, a whole 8 points in the entire game by the offense on a drive of less than 50 yards and the OL is given the game ball.
I guess they really got it because they blocked so well on all those punts.

This is the game where the defense was totally responsible for the win and it was the defense which deserved the game ball. All the offense deserved was a tongue lashing by Campbell for being so inept.

Do not disagree, our offense is the worst in the NFL imo...and not a one of them has played well in 2015.

  37. seriously, Campbell gave the OLine the game ball. I think he just signed his death warrant. lol

Even more evidence that this regime treats these players like grade school participants. "Lets build the confidence" by...giving unwarranted game balls to poor units, asking practice squad players to ease up on the QB, hand out laughable contract extensions...

The worst you play in Miami the more they do for you, reason # 146 why this franchise needs a complete makeover.

I'm not sure why you disagreed with my statement. I think I was pretty clear that the offensive line did NOT deserve the game ball yesterday.

That would certainly show that I agree with you that the offense stinks.
