He can call all the protections he wants, but players have to execute them. Getting hit from your blindside isn't normally the fault of the QB. You said multiple turnovers were his fault. Seems one turnover was his fault.
But it is what happened, they had a slo-mo of the play from right behind Tanne. It was Richardson though.
You believe he knew Richardson was coming at him? You believe he called the protection? Judging by what Griese said, I doubt he did. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
http://espn.go.com/blog/miami-dolph...l-questions-emerge-after-dolphins-fall-to-4-7 This is a good summary of how Tannehill really did. Garbage time indeed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
There are no questions anymore. Tannehill sucks. People can blame the OL or penalties or the scheme. The QB is not making his throws, not even when he has protection. He had pretty good protection on that INT early in the game. He had pretty good protection on that 7 yard out that Cameron had to to make a circus catch cause the dude can't throw consistently even at 7 yards. He's just inconsistent as hell, he's not clutch, he's had 4 years. You can't blame Lazor for his failures cause he was here before Lazor. The worst part is we're stuck with this QB at least 1 more year unless we eat his contract against the cap I guess which would sting. Our first 3 drives started inside Jets territory, midfield, and our own 40. What did we make of it? 0 pts.
This is going to sound really random but do you happen to be the IdrA from starcraft or another idra? O.o
That's who I got the username from, I'm not really him. I used to be a big fan of starcraft and starcraft 2. Lol. Shocked anyone on this board would make the connection.
Im sure the fans of South Florida can't wait to spend their time and money to attend this stretch of home games. This team is pathetic.
We are in rebuild mode. This team is going nowhere fast. At least we will have a canopy next year to eliminate the sweating because Lord knows we won't be sweating out close 4th quarter games next year either
Ahh I see lol same here I used to play competitive brood war once upon a time when I was young and didn't have a real job lol. WCG 2004 won the miami qualifiers got a free trip to long beach California for the finals and got knocked out in 3rd round finished #8 in USA. Insert more shameless self gloating lol I'm a nerd at heart though so I'm proud of meaningless gaming accomplishments like that lol..anyway nice to meet you and nice user name IdrA became a lot better than I ever was he was really really good pretty sure #1 in the USA (and paid sponsorship in Korea) for at least a couple years
At least the fans of the other teams we play will get to see their team live. I expect a lot of Ravens is it? fans next week. Even though they suck as bad as we do. We might stumble into a win who knows. Me too. I want to win every game. But this team sucks so who knows if we will even win another one lol.
I liked IdrA cause he always flipped out when he lost. Much like I do here during Dolphins football. I was never that good. In Broodwar I mostly played BGH. When SC 2 first came out for the first couple of seasons I was able to rank diamond. Congrats on being semi-successful in broodwar that one was definitely more micro-intensive. Anyway now all the young nerds are much faster so I pretty much gave up and became a watcher for awhile. But I haven't played a game of SC in a long time now. Lol.
I'm glad I cancelled my season tickets as soon as Philbin was extended. I bet that sales rep I spoke with thinks I'm a wizard. As soon as Tannehill is gone, I'll reconsider. If we get a defensive coach with a run first mentality, I'll strongly reconsider. But damn it feels good to munch out on my couch and save thousands. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Well I'm only 23 so of course I had to learn the hard way. I'll save my money until I can really afford it. I might wait for Ross to die (I know it's mean, but I'm being honest). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Haha same here I gave up after realizing I could compete with the Americans/Europeans but was really no match for the insanely fast Korean pro kids who practiced 12 hours a day in a crowded team house lol
And my original point is that this is on the coaching staff- not Tannehill. And yet, you still seem to believe that the coaching staff is making an accurate assessment when they don't like Tannehill make adjustments which week in and week out are game breaking. Not to mention that intellectually speaking these aspects that they're not trusting Tannehill with are less intellectually rigorous and risky, and they're not something he's never done before- or really even particularly had problems with.
I personally believe Tannehill is incapable of making good audibles because of his decision making but at this point the coaching staff should take the chance. They're likely on the way out anyway. I'm just explaining why I believe they've never trusted him to fully audible. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
did you think partly why they drop more is because they know ryan is going to stay in one spot...no matter what..
Not only is Tannehill BAD, he is F'ing BORING. This marks the 9th time in 11 games Miami has scored 20 points or less. Miami's highlight plays for the year are a couple of 30-35 yard passes to Stills which are pretty ordinary passes for many QBs in a single game. Henne-hill fans like to blame the D for Miami's problem, and in part that is true, but it is b/c the Dolphins have invested so much resources to try and build the offense around our anemic QB the defense has been left to wither away. 14 of the 21 draft picks in the first 4 rounds over the past 5 years went to the offense...4 of 5 first round picks, 3 of 5 second round picks, 3 of 5 third round picks, 4 of 6 fourth round picks. Furthermore, it isn't that Miami has neglected the offense in the 5th round and beyond as 8 picks have gone to the offense, 9 to the defense and 1 on a kicker. Additionally, contracts have been given to proven offensive vets Albert, Cameron and Jennings. To think Miami might go with Tanne-henne for the next 2-3 years leaves little hope of being mildly entertained let alone optimistic of making the playoffs in the near future.
didn't see the last 2 mins, thy switched it, who scored, and what is ryans rating for the game if you know?
Just remember, we got easily swept by the Jets AND the Bills this season. And they did it all with little resistance from the Lolphins. How embarrassing is that? Soon the Pats will join that group and we'll go 0-6 in the div. And to think they once had us fooled into thinking (myself included) we might have a good season this year. What a joke...
You have no idea how many times my dad told me how boring the games were. Keep in mind, guys, that in Sun Life, you don't have commentators to take your mind off your team being handled. You have the sun beating down on you. You have a ton of opposing fans cheering and mocking your team. Oh and I paid $2500 per season before the renovations for a couple of level 100 seats midfield for all that. Plus parking was $20+ per game, $30+ when we faced an elite QB. I'm not kidding you guys... You know what my dad and I mostly looked forward to? Big O on 560 QAM after a loss. That was usually the highlight. The best memory was probably the TNF game against the Bengals with the Cam Wake safety for the win. The pre game show was awesome too. Season tickets weren't even close to being worth it in my opinion. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I just happened to look and Ryan was about the 3rd highest scoring fantasy QB at the time.....guess I made a mistake not starting him.
I'm kinda glad this happened though to be honest. If we didn't win a wildcard, might as well get a higher draft pick. Plus we got rid of Philbin. Hopefully between his bad contract, Tannehill's and Suh's, Ross will decide to sell. Wishful thinking, I know. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Certainly was today. Will poison the hopes of some when they try to consider it a successful season because he throws for 4k yards.
http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/1...classless-celebrating-rishard-matthews-injury Apparently he is weak minded. He knows he's at fault for that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Tannehill's QB rating today is higher than Big Ben's so Tannehill clearly played better than Ben has.
Just goes to show u how bogus qb rating really is Hell Brandon weeden qb rating was 93 and got him benched and then cut because it didn't translate to points and wins.
Seriously? He's right. Matthews is down, and hurt, and Pryor is prancing all over the field. The only thing you can come up with is the QB is weak minded? Give me a ****ing break. He played like ****. The entire offense played like ****. Now we want to criticize these comments too? Unbelievable.
Yeah, seriously. You think the Jets shouldn't celebrate a stop on third down and a big hit? They didn't notice he was injured until later. Tannehill should just shut up and stop worrying about what the other team did. He shouldn't have made that throw and gotten Matthews hurt. It was a clean hit. He should apologize, not try to somehow deflect blame. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yep. It's an anomaly, but this is why I always say that stats don't mean anything without play by play or tape. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
