Should Interim Head Coach Dan Campbell be Retained?

Yeh...I said yes because I feel very strongly that with more experience he will be a very good head coach, not merely a good one. He is getting, by pure luck, the best on the job training you can ask for. I look at his record..3/2..with one of those losses being in NE when nobody would have won that game. Hes also done this...while only having one home game. Zach Thomas said is best yesterday, you dont look so much at the record, you look at the body language of the players, and those player fight, scratch, and claw for him. He did have a bad TO at the end of the first half against Buffalo, but really five games...one bad timeout?

If we dont hire him as our HC, mark my words, somebody else is going to. There are to many openings next season...we are gonna sit back watch another team get the guy and go, I cant believe we had the chance to have Dan Campbell as our HC, and we blew it.

 

i had to go with no. He is a great story but he isn't ready. I'd like to keep him on staff but that will be up to the next coach. I'd like to see him as Assistant coach let him learn more.

 

Highly unlikely....I doubt he even gets an interview with another team

 

He'll likely wind up in Buffalo with Rex.

Its about respecting the OP. He went out of the way to explain why there was not a more time needed option...so if your reply said...needs to be a more time needed option, then either you didnt take the time to read his post...or you didnt care .
