Only people who act and run on emotion would be on it and then jump off it. Fact is, this is a wait and see process, take it as it comes and make a call on it at seasons end.

The defense was doing a decent job in the first half. Tannehill and the offense didn't show up. But people should cheer up cause the AFC sucks this year and there's a lot of winnable games for us. The Cam Wake loss may likely sting us bad though. I hope its not serious.

If Tannehill can't stretch the field then he's not the QB of the future. You have to be able to throw the long ball to open up the run game. It's really quite a simple equation.

Did the DOlphins not think the Pats would be wise to the Dolphins dink/dunk offense? Did they think Belichick would not prepare his defense for that exact scheme? You can't be so obvious in this game at a high level.

I put this loss on Tannehill the WRs and whoever was calling the plays primarily.

    Exactly my point.

I know we wont get a reasonable response from the OP on that one.

Like really, we're already screwed because of the Delmas injury (AGAIN), so, what do you really expect from a second string player, from a small college? I mean, what we're getting, is exactly what we should expect to be getting. He is, exactly what he should be. Not a very good player, who's a second stringer, for a reason... that reason, is what we're seeing now, because, well, he shouldn't be playing as often as he is being forced to. There's just no other option.

    Everyone apparently.

I guess we all thought the interim would go undefeated and take us to the superbowl.

Hey man only so much he can do with what he's got. All he can do is motivate the players gotta play.

    Lazor's playcalls never adjusted

We don't push the ball down the field for Robinson to be maxed out.

No. I see a lot of winnable games on our schedule. The Patriots (esp at home) are one of the best teams in the league unfortunately. We got spanked like we were supposed to. That's not a coaching problem that's a lack of talent problem(in comparison with elite teams.)

There's still a wildcard chance for us though...

While I'm disappointed to lose (again) to the Patriots, I'm glad we gave them a rough time to start with. The safety was the first of many "Doh!" mistakes, along with INT's. We're a young/new team with lots of talent, and now we have an entire new coaching mentality in the locker room. Let's see where that takes us the rest of the season. ALWAYS a Dolphins fan......

I love that the Jets can figure out how to go toe-to-toe with the Pats in New England [though a loss is still a loss even if its close], yet Miami continues to be dreadful. Looking at the box scores between them, in the entire century they've only won in 2000, 2005, and 2008 and none of them featured Brady except 2005 when he only played briefly since they had locked up their playoff spot. And the Pats almost always win by double digits... at least give them a game.

Theres not a single interception that is Tannehill's fault, according to thephins.

Well that was a disgusting game last night. I expected some fight and the entire offense didn't even show up. I don't mind the loss, it's losing like the Bills or Jets games I can't understand.

The Jets are just a much better team than we are. They have a great OL, RB and they are stacked on defense and WR. Their biggest problem is QB. He's good enough to help them win 9-11 games. But he's never gonna be the guy who can take the team on his back and lead them to a championship.

I'm the first person to back Tannehill, but he played poorly last night. Like pretty much everyone else. I think 2 of the big momentum shifts were Miller catching that swing pass and having nothing but open field in front of him and he trips. The very next play he gets the hand off with a HUGE hole, trips. Miami punts. The Stills deep drop was atrocious. That was a beautiful pass. I didn't expect a win, but I didn't expect that. More importantly now is how they Olay against Buffalo. I'm still on board with Campbell, but he needs to tell Lazor to run the ball more. The news about Wake just plain sucks.

Yeah they're kind of like the 2000 Phins with Fiedler. (Well, Lamar Smith wasn't great, and we weren't stacked at WR...)

the oline takes the most blame. once again, it looked like jv vs varsity.

tannehill was not put in any position to succeed yesterday and he isn't good enough to overcome our problems.

yesterday showed me that our problems are a lot deeper than just coaching and blowing the #12 pick on a wr when thats our 2nd strongest position with talent is looking very stupid imo. this team has way too many holes. our ceiling this season is low imo, a wildcard if we are lucky, but miami will struggle against top teams.

It's funny because the 2 INTs against Tenn were blamed on Cameron and the 2 last night were on Matthews. Nobody noticed that coach said a week ago Tanny threw it behind Cameron on one play. Last night that first INT was on Tanny. Matthews was swallowed up on the route.
