Offensive line needs to man up and create some space in the running game starting with the opening drive.

Defense is playing well enough. Offense has been a disaster from top to bottom. This offense has stretches where they look BAD. That first half was one of them.

That was all due to a dominant running game. Running game, yac yards and terrible tackling by the other team. You didn't really expect the WRs to take 3 yard passes 50 yards every week did ya? Im not sure why we haven't given Miller more chances with straight ahead runs so we can at least pick up a yard or two but whatever. I guess they prefer the negative yard Landry pass. 2nd will be entertaining. Maybe our offense can manage to get across midfield. So far our offense has given the Patriots more points than they'll likely score all game. The D has played well enough to keep this a 7-0 game if our offense was just competent. Doesn't help when you've got a QB who locks onto one WR.

Meh. I'm not going to try to defend Tanny right now. A lot of folks right now is determined to put this all on him.

Wow the Patriots D is making our offense look like they don't belong in the same league. Pathetic effort on the O side of the ball in the half.

Well, we ran the ball with success the last two weeks, which opened the passing game. We were balanced.

Today, they've shut down Miller. LAzor has abandoned the run. 15 pass attempts by Tanne, 6 called runs (miller/gray). NE takes away our short passes. We can't take away theirs because our LB's suck.

I mean, its a recipe for disaster that's far beyond any one player.

This offense can't play from behind. It just can't. They'll abandon the run game, get way too cute, substitute for the sake of substitution and feature a quarterback who's trying to do too much. I'm not even sure how much of this is on Lazor's specific playcalling and how much is on Philbin's general "vision". But the truth of the matter is that we don't seem to have any coherent plan whatsoever once we're down by a TD or more.

For me the outcome is simple in this one, either guys make plays for Tannehill, or we lose badly.

Seems like the national stage is too much for the Dolphins to handle. But i still think we can come out after halftime and make it a game again.

I'm not throwing away the season yet but this game is done. Down 19 to the Pats is almost impossible. Offense blew a god showing by the defense.

Oh well you get used to being embarrassed as a Fins fan Lol. Tannehill's INT was so ugly and he's holding the ball too long and seems to be staring down targets. Also... dropped balls.

Dont be mad because i remember you as one of the guys who have a mancrush on Tannehill and he absolutely sucks at seeing the pass rush, and he cant hit the broad side of a barn if its 10 yards downfield. I mean, why does he refuse to throw beyond 6 yards? Im sure youll tell me his low YPA is everyone elses fault but him

Tannehill is no Brady and Brady is fully capable of throwing that ball past 20 yards.

At this point, Tannehill belongs in the same category as Alex Smith, and give me Bortles over Tannehill any day of the week.

You can only do so much with Fox at one of your tackle positions and if you abandon the run.

Yeah, because he has so much tonight right? Maybe twice? Once on a play there was a flag he knew he was getting, the second after OV missed a sack he scrambled, and went deep because the play... over developed by NE standards.

    But... ok.

More Tannehill homerism from you, I guess Tannehill needs 5 years to become an "franchise" QB?LMAO He aint that good bro, get over it. You probably defended John Beck and Chad Henne too. Joke

Because he has throughout his career. This is the personnel he's been given so he has to dink and dunk. He can also score 30 points with the team running it 9 times for 10 yards while we can't.

Cowher just summed it up nicely for those of you bashing the offense and Tannehill.

We've completely gone away from what's let us kill teams the last two weeks. I just said it at the start of halftime. 15 passes by Tanne. 6 run plays. Look at the numbers the last two weeks. Far more balanced. We're beating ourselves by playing outside of our strengths, beating outselves with mistakes (drops, penalties, bad decisions, bad blocking etc).

We got stoned early, and abandoned the run again. Which is what LAzor has done alot this year.

Cowher 100% right. Phins need to stay with run and establish themselves on the offensive line.

This game, we lose an olineman, and suddenly, once again, we can't run the ball, and Tannehill is getting crushed...but the Dave crew is once again pinning all the blame on Tannehill. Crazy.

I would bust your balls for starting Thill in a big game but this game was set up perfectly for a QB. Everybody knew the Patriots were going to over commit to stopping Miller because everything on offense is dependent on him. Our passing game is nothing but an extended handoff. I could understand why youd expect better from Thill since you knew the Patriots would be going all out to stop Miller thus giving Thill 1 on 1. If we had a good QB he would have a field day with all the 1 on 1s downfield.
