Hoping you and your family are doing as well as you can be with this sad news. I hope to see him on this site very soon after he heals. Hopefully a victory on Thursday night will speed his recovery. Well wishes going his way.
I was just coming on here to thank you guys for all of your support! I told him that I had said something and that there was a big outreach of support. It really cheered him up! Thank you all. Fandom has forged us into family! You all are the best. Thank you!
Godspeed to your father 407, and hang in there! Guess you'll be watching the game with him tomorrow night. Looking back, those I watched with mine are far and away the ones I now cherish the most. ...granted, Marino WAS chuckin the ball around back then, but still.
He is out of intensive care, and wants to go home. They are not sure what caused everything, but he is almost back to normal. They want to do more testing and monitor him over a period of time to ensure it was a one time thing. Thank you all for your kind words!! He was very happy to hear that you were thinking of him.. We are all united by our fandom. We are family. Let's go kick patriots *** tonight!
Glad to hear the good news. You and the family must be very relieved. Sometimes these things can have a silver lining and bring attention to something that may have gone unnoticed and have been critical down the line. Tell him to stay calm tonight.
That's awesome man! I lost my father this January at the age of 61 so I can relate to the scare that must have given you. I've gone through the loss of my only sibling and brother when I was 10. He was 17. Having lost my father this year when I was 31 and still having to run a business is overwhelming at times. I don't know your work schedule or if you have kids, wife etc but I will say I hope this allows you two to spend as much time as possible together over the time you have left together. Money is great to have but all the money in the world doesn't mean **** if youre going through the loss of a loved one. Find the time for the ones you love the most. I was very close to my father and moved him in to my home when he became ill and Im very thankful for having that opportunity but I still wish I had spent even more time with him before he got sick.
Continued thoughts and prayers for your family. Glad he is back home now. Enjoy every high and low with him watching the team you both love and know your family here is thinking of you both.
