I liked Will Davis more than Jamar Taylor. I had no preconceptions having not scouted either guy but based on what I saw of them as Dolphins, I preferred Will Davis and I think that's why Baltimore acquired him. Quite frankly, I have seen nothing from Jamar Taylor that impresses me.
Like you, I thought Davis was basically awful with the Dolphins. Yet he is merely the latest example of a player who the Dolphins cut or traded which went to another team and played better than he did for the Dolphins. I have no idea what type of career Davis will have with the Ravens, but the fact he played better last night than at any time with the Dolphins, seems to be an indictment of the coaching he received in Miami. Going into the fourth year of this regime and seeing no real growth in many of the players on the roster just provides more evidence that this is the worst coaching staff in the NFL at this time.
Will Davis tears ACL, out for the year http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/10/12/ravens-corner-will-davis-tears-acl-out-for-the-year/ I feel bad for good guy WillieD, but it's like a free 7th for us.
wasn't it a conditional seventh? And does that mean since he's out for the year, that condition has not been met?
after further review, I'm hearing it's not a conditional 7th rounder... just a 7th rounder. So apparently we're in the good.
