Some of us will blame the QB. Some of us will blame the defense. But, I think all of us can agree this team is just not very good.

I think it is on the coaching at this point and time. Some of the play calling yesterday was questionable. We keep calling running plays\pitches to the short side of the field, where exactly is there for the RB to go? Once we called a screen to the short side and the RB stepped out of bounds as he had nowhere to go. Just seems stupid to me.

On defense we played soft zone, no blitzing defense against a very average QB? Is this the dumbing down of the defense Philipin wanted? Or just plain stupid scheme?

Jenkins and Jones are beasts. 24 and 22 are bums. Taylor has a stupid costly penalty every single game.

I think the WR’s are playing great. They were open all game, but I seemed in the 4th quarter we went away from what was working all game....

Miller gets like 4 runs a game.

Final drive backed up in the endzone and Miller is not in the game??? How do you not hand off there? To make it worse you run a play action in the endzone?
Just lost to the worst team in the league. Going to be interesting to hear the excuses.

The main problem with this team, imo 25, is Ross, he is way too hands on, and knows nothing about it.

He signed Suh to sell tickets, and that worked, but it was very short sighted, we won't be any good until Ross either sells the team, or just leaves it alone.

Lamar Miller wasn't available at the end of the game. He was injured.

The main problem is not Ross. He does not play. He does not coach. He's opened his bank account to the front office staff to do whatever they wanted. Tannenbaum was the one madly after Suh. Not because Ross said so, but because Suh is one of the best DT's in football. Having a solid DL, is necessary in the NFL. Ross has his issues, sure, but to say he's the main problem is just... well, not very educated.

    LOL
    seriously?

there is so much misdirected hate by dolphins fans.
First it was Tanny now its......ross???
    really?

the Problem is coaching....its all coaching. Philbin and Coyle need to go.

Football is about preparation, schemes, and adjustements. We have the talent to win games. We just don't have the coaching to take advantage of it.

You have any proof of that? Imo that was totally a Ross signing, which is why he said it was like his 'son", or whatever ridiculous comment he made.

LOL, yea, I was told I didn't know what I was talking about when I said Suh was a 5-7 DT, now no one want's to touch that thread, so I'm cool with you thinking it's not very educated.

Its easier to blame one person, but really, a lot of people contributed to the loss.

While I agree coaching is a major problem with the organization, Ross is the person who hired Philbin and then decided to let him return this season. Even though Philbin had shown over his first three years that he was nothing but a very mediocre head coach.

As long as the owner keeps employing individuals who can't get the job done on game day, he deserves the blame for where this organization is today. He has been majority owner of the team since 2009 and the Dolphins have not had a single winning season under his ownership.

If it is all bad coaching as you imply it is. Ross as the owner is the person responsible for hiring the best available head coach and coaching staff to turn this organization into a winner.

True, in the aspect that Ross is still keeping Philbin and the coaching staff around YES I blame Ross. its his fault and has messed it up.

But to say Ross is the problem with this team is a lie. he's been a good owner, but he's been hypnotized by the undertaker and needs to be woken up.

I give credit to Ross for renovating the stadium and being willing to spend the money to bring in the big free agents. In that sense he has been a good owner.

Where he has failed as an owner is in ability to hire the right individuals to run the football side of the organization. Maybe Tannebaum will eventually turn out to be a good hire, but if Tannebuam is truly the head of football operations. Ross needs to give him the authority to immediately start looking for an upgrade at the head coaching position.

Ross can not afford to screw up the hiring of the next head coach for this organization. As he did by keeping Sparano too long and then hiring Philbin, a coach who had zero head coaching experience at any level of football and has proved to be a mediocre head coach at best.
