No qb will have success here if we don't fix what's really wrong here. NO protection NO playmakers, and because of injury NO running threat. All qbs fail in that situation. Anderson has a lot more to work with in Cleveland. It is absolutely essentail we get a TE, better pass protection, and some receivers that can create seperation.

Agreed, but you have to start somewhere and QB is still the best place to start. I would argue that our line has been good enough, and we ran the ball well enough at the beggining of the season, that a top flight QB could have won us some games.

^ i agree with you. Also, I think the new coach will use Ginn's speed to his advantage and try to get Ginn more involved with the ball. the commentater from the pats/phins game this past weekend was praising ginn about how he has that playmaking speed and that he can make game changing cuts with it.

Yeah Question, whats worse than a bad Head Coach? Answer: A bad Head Coach you trade draft choices for.

Actually although they are not direct "trades" exchanging draft picks for a coach has been done. Tampa Bay gave up two ones for Gruden in 2003.

That is last thing I hope we do... we have traded two many picks for two many QBs that havnt worked out and they most likely havnt worked out because they dont have a supporting cast.

I also agree that the Phins should't trade any picks for anyone. God, they've given draft picks like cotton candy in the past and the only thing's produced is lumps of coal.

Whats funny is I dont think Anderson is worth a number one. Maybe a number two which instantly puts him off our list. Its in the bible somewhere where the Dolphins must never use a 2nd rounder on a QB or plague and pestilence will befall Miami

If this season wasn't the plague, then we should all really worry.:(

    Lol.

I've argued this in other threads but i'm a firm believer that if you don't have a QB you don't have anything. Look at the top teams in the league, QB is the common denominator.

Maybe Beck is the guy, maybe not, but if you had the opportunity to get another top notch QB you need to at least investigate it. The worst thing that happens is you have two good QB's. It didn't hurt San diego and it's not hurting Cleveland now.

Exactly IM with you, but if they would take a second rounder and not the #32 overall 2nd pick I would do a 4th and a 2nd for him today... Even if he does not pan out we would have a very good quality QB for a backup, unlike the piss scared Lemond Aid man.

I could see Beck and Anderson competting for the spot.
