Just wow. With Kaaya and our offense, I still like our chances but once Bush went out the defense just did a complete collapse. More on the staff though.
My interpretation was that he didn't need to come to the ground fully with it, it wasn't a diving catch or the catch attempt that brought him to the ground. He was fully upright with control with the foot down. After that he turned and lost balance.
Of course it goes right to showing Butch Davis in the studio. Insult to injury. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
Teflon Al gets the win. A great opportunity to give your fan base some hope and think you've finally turned the corner and this happens. So disappointed with a win but the fan in me hopes they continue winning.
I can see the team continue to win. Brad Kaaya is the type of guy that can save Goldens job the same way Winston saved Fishers. But it's painfully obvious Golden is an incompetent boob and has been for quite some time. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
Wouldn't be a canes game without the defense absolutely folding in the worst possible way. Sent from my SM-G360T1 using Tapatalk
Unreal what I witnessed, How the hell does a team break down like that, On offense you run the ball control the clock, defense **** u
Positive is that any other year we definitely lose that game. They had all the momentum and I give serious respect to the players for not folding to the point we lost the game. Coaching wasn't great but part of it has to fall on the players who seemed to be going through the motions at that point in the game. Missing both safeties for the first half of our next game is going to hurt. A 4-0 start would be nice though no matter how it comes.
Won that one by the skin of our teeth. I'll take the win, but that's still embarrassing to let Nebraska come all that way back and take the game into OT.
Neither defense nor special teams can ****ing tackle a single soul. Sent from my SM-G360T1 using Tapatalk
We're gonna field goal them to death. Meanwhile we still haven't figured out how to tackle on defense. Sent from my SM-G360T1 using Tapatalk
How many time you going to run it on 3 and 5....are you kidding me? Kaaya missed several wide open receivers, but he makes some very nice reads and seems to audible to the right play most of the time. Please can we fire Al and his craptastic staff. #BRINGBACKBUTCH
Don't want Butch. I want Mario Cristobal, O-line coach at 'Bama. Think he was named Recruiter of the Year, former 'Cane, and from what I've heard, the High School coaches down here love him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I did not watch a lot of the game. Did see the last quarter or so and towards the end of the 4th near the goal line, I noticed he clearly missed an open wr in the flat (just in the endzone) for when he tried to force it right over the middle. He did make some AMAZING throws, but he also made a few mistakes. I do think he is going to be a REAL GOOD QB though...
Can't expect much else from a coach that says "Don't rise up to the occasion" during pre game. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
Ditto on Cristobal. The guy made chicken salad in his time at FIU (only bowl victory in school history, and recruited/developed/showcased the likes of TY Hilton at FIU) Sent from my Transformer TF101 using Tapatalk
Cristobal is so meh. Butch Davis is my number one by a country mile. I like Greg Schiano and Rob Chudzinski too. Of course the top choices would be for this new President to actually give a **** about this program and pay for a real coach. Chip Kelly or Chuck Pagano if/when they decide to get back into college football. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
The Hurricane defense is ****ing terrible...the offense is so off balance....where's the fire al golden plane, i want to hope on.
