Its like 3M decided to create another Heath Evans in the lab and someone accidentally knocked too much WTF Juice into the vat.
Teams don't revolve entire gameplans around avoiding the "5th to 7th" best tackle and chop block him seemingly EVERY play. I knew this bs would start at some point with unrealistic fans, didnt think itd be game 1 though.
I am rolling right now I want to see DJs reaction to Suh being "the 5th to 7th best" TACKLE. LOL. edit: please enlighten us on the 4-6 defensive tackles that are head and shoulders better than Suh. Pleeaassee.
While there has been a lot of hatred toward Evans on this forum in recent years. The fact is he has been fairly accurate in stating that the Dolphins were nothing but an average team in past years. Whether he will end up being correct in regards to Suh, only time will tell.
Heath Evans again? Why does any of us care what this tick turd has to say when it comes to the Fins? He is now and always has been a hater of this team and his views are always from that slant. Did the Fins play well? No, we all Know that. I don't need him to tell me so.
Yes. We are entitled to our opinions. However, sometimes opinions are just really stupid and deserving of ridicule.
Ah... Fin has finally found out how to use the repeat key.. For the wrong reason, granted.. but he did find it!!
And even a blind hog can find a snack in a peach orchard! What we have here is an almost above average fullback who was dumped by the Fins having almost orgasmic delight in dismissing the Fins at every opportunity. He will continue to do so until the Dolphins hoist the Lombardi, and then he will quietly fade from the scene - all of the good ratings rants having been sucked right out of him!
Dude is the worst Patriots homer ever. He would love to lick Tom Brady's taint. He's the only person I've seen get worked up about Suh's "kneeing" of Alfred Morris.
Why is Heath Evans getting a thread created about him and multiple pages of discussion? I never understood that kind of thing.
? I would strongly suggest you both utilize the ignore option. It's very obvious you two don't like each other so why bother? It's getting annoying having to delete the useless silliness. Post about the subject on hand not about each other.
There was a lot of wrong in Finster's post, but the reality is it may have been a mistake to sink that kind of money into Suh. We won't know for awhile, but I still have serious doubts whether there will be positive R.O.I. on this signing. It has nothing to do with how talented an individual player he is but so much more to do with how much impact a nose tackle can make on the outcome of a game. Yes, it's an important position. But will Suh do that much better than an average to moderate NT that will get this team a couple more wins and get them into the playoffs? As another thread / article suggested, it will have so much more to do with Tannehill than it does Suh.
If I recall correctly, they didn't want to let him go...and were rather upset he didn't give them a chance after the offer he'd received from Miami. They were already pretty close to what Miami gave him, so ya...
And as per the usual, he used an untruth to try to accentuate his point. He's been repeatedly proven wrong on various things, but you could never tell by the superiority he tries to convey. His football knowledge overfloweth of the thimble, so we must bow-down and praise his all-knowing wisdom.
Dude, I have only needed to read a few of your posts to figure out you are absolutely off your rocker about players...according to the NFL, PFF, and his opponents...Suh is at worst in top 3 at his position, and at his best the #1 DT in the league....your opinion of his is way off and if you really are a Dolphins fan, I will remember this post and Don't even want to see you jump on the Suh band wagon later..it almost seems to me like you are trolling someone on here, possibly Fin D...enough already Finster!!!
This is my exact thoughts on Pouncey as well. Only difference is Suh is an impact player, Pouncey is not. I still can't believe we gave that kinda money to a center who isn't dominant by any means.
Pouncey played at an elite level last week IMO. Hopefully his play continues this season now that he is healthy. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk
If he is as good as you say, why was he made invisible last week? The real issue that you should be dealing with however, is that an opinion can set you off like that, and what, just 2 spots outside what many, but not all experts place him? I've already stated he is a top 5 type of player, look to yourself, have a beer, smoke a peace pipe, something.
No player plays at their best all the time. If Suh keeps playing under expectations over multiple games, then you can start sounding the alarm. I bet it will be different today. Also.. while opinions are fine, I've never really seen experts rank Suh any less than #3 among DT's, so outside top 5 (especially when the difference between elite and very good is big) can set off some emotions.
Whether Suh is or isn't top 5/7 in the league, you have to realize that you can't make those kind of statements and not get ridiculed or questioned unless you list which players are better by some means and/or provide a link to something that also quantifies your opinion.
Well, I expected to be challenged on that opinion, even ridiculed, but my man seemed like he was about to pop a blood vessel or some such, lol, but it's still just an opinion, which isn't real far off what is the norm. My opinion is based on watching a lot of Lions tape this offseason, when we signed Suh, I was also of the opinion that he was top 3, and arguably the best DT in the league, because like most people who aren't Lions fans, we just know him from his highlights, which are impressive, and controversial, no such thing as bad publicity as they used to say. He is incredibly explosive and agile for a DT, so he can make "splash" plays, he gets by quick and is free for big clean hits, which is great, but what I found watching him on game tape was that he was not able to anchor a spot on the field, which we saw sunday, even 1 on 1 against better OGs he was moved off his spot in the run game, like in the Dallas game, his last game before joining the Fins. At 38 seconds, the Murry injury play, they are running at Suh, and Martin just wipes him out of the play, 1 on 1. I believe his notoriety and "splash" plays have led to him being a bit overrated, mainly against the run, Ngata is getting old, but he has always been a better DT, what happened to Suh on sunday, never happened to Ngata, Ngata can gain ground against double teams, they never move him, they're just trying to contain him in one spot, Suh gets moved off his spot, the difference being, Ngata is a force on every down. To be continued, I have enough DVR to watch the game commercial free, so I'm off.
I was going to continue this post, put the other guys I would put ahead of him, and how Suh doesn't keep lane responsibilities, but after watching these 2 games, not sure how anyone could argue too much with me, that was no elite DT on the field today, my 5-7 rating seems a bit high now.
