Meanwhile - their pick for Patriots at Bills: Split down the middle on Bills vs. Pats - who knew?!! And who do we side with on this one Pats or Bills? Oh and, Bills vs. Pats gets quotes from Ryan and Belichick but we get Omar Kelly?
Jets vs. Colts should see how the Jets deal with the team the Bills walked over, and how the Colts are feeling after that defeat. Wouldn't want to be the Jets!
Whether Miami wins or loses this game, if the defensive line doesn't make an impact in this game against another sub-par offensive line, it might be time to sound the alarm.
**** that. That's admitting you're a scared little wussy boy. Man up Travis, put on your big boy pants and fight all comers.
I tend to agree with this, hoping to sneak out a win against an opponent who might seem emotionally fatigued is not exactly my idea of taking care of business and believing your team is capable of hanging with the big boys.
It's almost laughable that Misi compared the Dolphins scheme to the Seahawks scheme. Teams with great talent on defense can get away with a simpler defense. Other than 3-4 players on the Dolphins defense, there are a lot of mediocre players, especially at the LB position. So having a simple defense that any average or better QB can pick apart makes no sense at all if you don't have talent throughout the defenseu. Perhaps the reason Miami had to go away from the more complex schemes was because too many of the defensive players don't have the mental ability to deal with anything more than simple.
I don't know that there's a wrong way for the Bills/Pats game to turn out, from our perspective. One team will lose, and that's a good thing. We seem to match up better vs New England head to head, but they also are the team more likely to win more games outside of the division/overall. I'm just happy to see Rex or Hoodie lose. As I said in a thread a few days ago, I'm hoping for a game where the both absolutely wallop on one another through a full 15 minutes of OT. Beat one another up and wear the other guy out, so that they both lose the following week. I think that the Colts are going to absolutely destroy the Jets.
Personally I want the Pats to lose. Not that i'm rooting for the Bills I just want those other A-Holes to lose as many games as possible.
NE's the one winning the SB's (I don't like it when teams win more SB's than the Dolphins), and NE's the one doing all the cheating. For me a no-brainer: go BILLS!
It's so funny to me how Omar's small brain works. He hears something about how Coyle is trying to simplify the defense, and when looking for reasons why the defense didn't perform as expected last week, rather than knowing football and seeing the actual cause of this, he just throws this out there as the culprit. Hilarious.
I think the Bills have the better team and are a serious threat to win the division and make a run at the Super Bowl. Taylor looks like he's for real after getting to develop for several years. The deep ball he threw to Harvin was nice and has the legs to keep a defense honest. But Brady-to-Gronk is second-to-none. Bills 31 Patriots 24.
This talk of a subpar Oline just seems off. They have had a 1000 yard rusher 3 years in a row. Morris is a beast and they add a top 5 pick to the line. I feel we are not giving that line enough credit.
While you wish it could happen, we definitely don't want a tie. Somebody needs to take that extra in the L column or tiebreaks will be a ***** for us down the road.
It's so early in the season it's hard for me to pick my poison for whom I want to see lose but I think the Bills win a close one here.
The Gronk part anyway...that dude is near untackleable...he's insane. MBT could throw him a pass and get the same results.
