Tannehill, Ryan [145] - Wake, Cameron [340] + This seems to be accelerating. I respect the band members who played right until the Titanic sank. I respect the Tannehill supporters willing to stay aboard the ship. I'll say this... if Ryan becomes what he has the potential to become this year, next year this will be a no brainer. It will be Tannehill by a landslide.
Suggestion: perhaps there should be a cutoff limit for people starting to vote late in the game? I am conscious that I came in late and feel kinda bad that the guys who put in time since the start have to watch latecomers arrive and essentially take over the outcome of the game. To be fair to myself, I did vote a few times here and there earlier in the game, but not much. Perhaps there should be a rule, though, to reduce that late influx of new voters? Or is that recruiting part of the fun? lol. I always loved the late campaigning and persuasion that went on behind the scenes.
Tannehill, Ryan [144]+ Wake, Cameron [341] - I wish I could vote more often. I'm just so overloaded with work and the new semester just started today at school. ugh. Also I think that even if Tannehill has the year that we all want him to be. He'll be overshadowed by Suh's impact on the D and I don't know if he'll be able to beat out Suh next year.
Tannehill, Ryan [147] +++ Wake, Cameron [338] --- I can't keep up with you guys in here voting every 2 hours on the dot. I'm confused by how so many of you can. Get out and play! I'm lookin at you, Wake supporters!
I can honestly say that unless Tannehill completely bombs this year I'll be voting for him next year 100%. I've been incredibly impressed with his growth and I'm looking forward to the next step I think almost all of us believe he's about to take.
If he has the season I am hoping it will take Wake breaking the sack record or Suh allowing our defense to break records for best defense.
ESPN Top 100 51. Cameron Wake | Dolphins | Rating: 84.54 Cameron Wake has missed just three games in six NFL seasons. AP Photo/Wilfredo Lee Crazy thought: Wake was picked up by the Giants in 2005, but they released him during camp. Think about that 2007 Giants team with Wake as an added pass-rusher: Umenyiora, Tuck, Strahan ... Wake? "He still has explosive get-off and cornering quickness," said one voter. He's also one of the NFL's truly consistent pass-rushers, and this after knocking out 39 sacks in two years in Canada before he got the call to Miami. Add it up: Wake is one of two players to have at least 8.5 sacks in each of the last five seasons (Charles Johnson is the other).
Tannehill, Ryan [145] - Wake, Cameron [341] + What the what? These Tannehill voters are coming out of the shadows.
