From the handful of interviews I saw from him, he just appeared lazy, apathetic, and unmotivated.
Sure, the actual words he SAID were properly chosen, standard issue format, but his tone, demeanor, and everything else said, " I'm hot, tired, and don't want to be here".
"The only reason I'm bustin ***, is because brother Wake and Co. keep riding it up and down the field."

I suspect whatever substance it turns out to be, was nothing more than a means to an end.

Worst pick in recent memory, far worse than Jason Allen even.

I really wish we could've drafted an O-lineman, even if that player turned into a bust. That was the biggest position of need that year, and the first two rounds were stocked with good prospects. Instead we traded for a high pick and grabbed the one position we didn't need for a player that didn't fit our defense that turned out to be a bum. What a waste.

You know had we grabbed a random person off the street that year who really didn't know or give two ****s about the game of football and put them in charge of managing the 40 million in cap space and deciding who to select with our five picks in the first 3 rounds of the draft...I'm almost certain they would've done a better job than ending up with Dion Jordan, Jamar Taylor, Dallas Thomas, and Will Davis and blowing all that money on Hartline, Wallace, Wheeler, Ellerbe, Lance Louis and Tyson Clabo. And I am dead serious...I mean you really have to try to make that many awful decisions in a 2 month span...like that offseason was historically bad.

Shoutout to our amazing owner for making it all possible of course, retaining The Ginger that offseason after we'd just finished up our 5th straight losing season on his watch. We love you Stephen Ross!

Speaking of 2013, did everyone here take the time to apologize to Heath Evans?

Didn't mean it like that. I remember how much you loved him coming out in the Draft that year. Now...that body...

Did Heath Evans ever apologize to the Dolphins, et al? Phuck him...he's a douche and will always be.

Ya that was a sh*tty draft. Ross has learned from his Ireland days...I'd never hold ginger against him.

To answer that last question, Money and Miami lifestyle is what changed, he couldnt handle it and lost focus/motivation... He will end up broke and try to make a comeback attempt 2 or 3 years from now.

Apologize?? To Heath "I wanna be the meat in a Marcia Brady Billy Bellycheat sandwich" Evans. Apologize!?!? If he could ever get his lips off whichever of those two he is currently servicing's nut sacks long enough he should be down on his knees thanking the Dolphins for hooking him up with his BFFFLFFLNFL and his ***** Marcia and giving him the chance to go on Worldwide TV and profess his undying love 4 evers and evers

    Apologize...as Ocho would say..."Child, please!"

It's all coming clear now. Jordan was bullied by Incognito for being Martins secret lover and lost his passion for the game. Its amazing how you professing your love makes it so clear to me now. Thank You.

I just wonder if it was his long armspan that turned Ireland on. Ya know...a couple inches of reach may have made it possible for him to actually reach Ireland's tiny little peepee for the reach around.

Sports science doesn't know **** about body fat. 3.8% is damn near dead. Serious. DJ was more like 7-8% bodyfat. And he's currently looking around 14-15%.

I would assume it's cheaper to keep him on the suspended list than to cut him. Isn't he missing his game day salary while on suspension? To cut him they'd have to pay out his game days no?

Well, at least he lost all that mass he packed on. He can at least look like the Jordan of old if he is motivated enough to show up in shape next year. I have my doubts, and a year out of football? With few exceptions that I can remember, a players first year back from a long hiatus produces a poor season, an injury or both.

wow I'm speechless at that photo.. what the hell..

the guy was never truly a fulltime football player in Oregon, like an every down player.. but still.. the one thing he had was his body and athleticism.. and it looks like he got rid of both..

    thanks ireland

Maybe we could trade him for somebody that can pick up wrappers after the players?

Just release him, if it is financially possible. He has no value either to us as a player or on the trade market. Sure someone will pick him up and kick his tires and maybe he'll even get his head out of his butt and learn how to play the game for them.

I am just not interested in him trying to do it here.

    See Ya, Dion!

No reason to apologize, his comment about Jordan being a wasted pick even if had 18 sacks his rookie season still remains one of the stupidest comments by an analyst.

I'd apologize to Heath Evans for his mom sleeping with his father, thus making Jim look like that.

Other than that, I apologize for muting the TV when he speaks.

Color me unsurprised. I remember looking at his college highlight reels and coming away with the impression that he was a guy who made plays when he was unblocked, or ran around his opponent. He's always taken the easy path, and now he's up against left tackles who he cant speed past and he has to develop skills and work hard to win he has just given up.
