I don't make many predictions, but I'm betting Franks wins the K job. That is, unless his kickoffs are crap compared to ......what's his name

 

I'd really doubt it. I am not a fan of Sturgis, but he's gonna have to falter a lot imo to lose the job.

We need someone better than both of them though, so hopefully someone has two strong kickers in camp and we can get one after cuts.

Stills looks good. Ran fast & hard yesterday. Did full speed sprints, routes. Positive from that is he felt good today.

Can see difference in T'hill in drills. Throws w/more purpose, accuracy.

 

Unfortunately to some that is not a deep ball.

Hopefully he is well enough to play in the next game.

 

Maybe 30-40 yds? I'll take them throws all day long, quick chunk of yards and field position. Better chance of scoring.

liked Cobi coming out in the draft, no surprise that he could surpass all the other reserves that have been here all offseason..I hope he's the 6th if there is one.

 

Correct. People care more about passes that are only attempted statistically perhaps thrice in two games. And I should add that these passes people care about so much are statistically completed only maybe once every four games. But this is the skill that matters for playing QB in the NFL.

 

I'm interested in seeing the Earl Mitchell FB experiment in short yardage situations. I've always liked the idea of trying to find a guy like that, at/near 300 lbs with great short area quickness to be a FB in those kind of situations, either as a lead blocker or even as a ball carrier. If he can be a bit of a receiving threat too, that can help as well.

.... Cobi Hamilton is a fine receiver, I think that he May have arrived at camp a little late to have a real shot at making the team.....We are absolutely loaded at WR with some pretty good talent...unless one of them break the kickoff/PR team wide open, then they will have a very hard time Trying to win a spot.

I agree, and I like this. Imho it is always very valuable to get players that can play multiple positions. just think, inn the eye, short goal line package, we can run Mitchell & Luc..for 6!!!!

 

Will be at game Saturday. Tailgating college and 5th right next to st. Pete church. Will be there around 4

at what time are the practices Wednesday and Thursday ?

 

Who will be at practice tomorrow? I'm planning on going but have no idea about the facility other than the location. Anyone have some info for the best experience possible?

 

I believe it is closed to the public. Unless you got a press pass.
