Philbin has been working on his really bad head coaching for years. He has improved every year. I do hope it shows up this season.

 

A buddy and I actually played him in Madden back in college. He smoked us both, but it was funny the whole time.

 

Sure, it gets put in the balance with every thing else he's done. While it seems like a positive, it is pretty minor so I don't see any reason to act like he should be getting a ton of credit. When somebody posted it in the club, I thanked them for pointing out a nice positive tid bit I might not have otherwise seen. That's about as much credit as I believe it warrants.

Probably like the reports on the Cam Newton fight to where he likes to run his mouth and thinks he untouchable due to the red jersey. Geno and Cam are immature and like to mouth off. They both need to grow up.

I'm not saying it proves hes a great coach. I pointing it out because of the perception of his personality.

The problem is, these things get ignored/forgotten and people harp on the stuff that doesn't matter like picking up gum wrappers or things that a negative agenda has been applied to like bed checks.

Everyone forgets things like this or the fact that his first year he literally danced a jig for the team in the locker room after every win. None of this stuff matters, because he's devoid of personality......

 

I thought he danced once after a win in 2012...

That said, if he did it after each win, I wouldn't want to see it if it's as bad as this:

I think he will start practicing the monday before the last preseason game, then maybe skip that game and reconvene at practice the following monday.
