$20 bucks just went to $100. I thought it was worth it last year. The feed was reliable. No way I'm going to give them $100. Guess I will be searching for a feed like everyone else. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news if any of you were planning on watching the Dolphins in preseason live this year.
100 for preseason games is stupid... League pass and mlb tv for a whole season is just a little more than that..
It is $100 for the whole season, and that includes pre-season games live. And NBA league pass is two times that price for the whole season.
Correct. We don't have an option to just buy preseason any more. A lot of us only required the service for preseason games.
I can't find that package on NFL.com...does anybody have a link to the $100 for all season package? Or is it the GamePass? Edit: Nevermind...found it in the GamePass. Friggin' robbery to include PS games into their BS package you can't even watch regular season games LIVE on...
I get the NFL Ticket, I remember I had to pay something to see the preseason games live, now that price is $100?? And is that for one game or all the games?
There is no longer an option to just get preseason. It is packaged with other crap you don't need and yes, it is 100 bucks.
Guys, now how do we expect to pay all of the rediculously high priced players, management, and NFL Executives, unless they milk us pions to death...like meister says..gotta be able to pay for that jet fuel.Lol.
Well the NBA(to their credit) has seen the Cord-Cutting writing on the wall: NBA unbundles League Pass at $6.99 per game; will DirecTV's 'NFL Sunday Ticket' follow? http://www.fiercecable.com/story/nba-unbundles-league-pass-699-game-will-directvs-nfl-sunday-ticket-follow/2015-07-23 "The NBA has revealed pricing for the new a la carte extension of its League Pass programming service, making individual out-of-market regular season games available to customers for $6.99." "In addition to the new individual game option, customers can also pay $119.99 a season to see all the games from a specific out-of-market team." "The NBA's decision to unbundle League Pass follows the settlement of a lawsuit filed against the National Hockey League. Hockey fans filed a class-action complaint against the NHL to similarly unbundle the league's streaming package. The NBA's decision could be a harbinger for one of pay-TV's biggest products, the DirecTV-distributed NFL package NFL Sunday Ticket. "
No longer being able to get preseason pass alone is unfortunate. But the new Game Pass looks awesome. As someone who watches most games live at bars, I will gladly pay $100 for what it's advertising. Preseason games. All-22 film. Every game from 2009 forward in full. The Short Cuts games. Hard Knocks and other shows on demand. https://www.nfl.com/gamepass?campaign=sp-nc-gd-af-pj-1502758 The NFL is the least progressive and is always well behind the major sports when it comes to giving its fans choices. Probably because it's a dominant #1 run by old men and therefore has little incentive to change. The new NBA option is fantastic. - posted via Tapatalk -
B I personally find that single game option terrible, but if some people get value out of it then that is great.
Yeah I do the same thing usually. I always miss the live showing so I try to catch the preseason replays. It is on so late where I live so I just rely on the replays.
I am going to get it as well. My favorite part about it was when I first saw the new Game Pass, they marketed it to me for my convenience, so I wouldn't get confused by all the options.
You guys want to complain. Try Canada on that link: SEASON Watch every Preseason + Regular Season game. Access through 15 Jan 2016. $244.99 Or 4 payments @ $74.99/month Don't even ask about Season Plus ;p
I wish i had that option..... I'd take that deal in a heartbeat. As it stands now I'd have to subscribe to directv, get a dish installed on the roof, and pay for all these included packages I don't want, just to be eligible to for an offer like that.
There never was a week to week option. You paid $20 or $25 dollars for all of preseason. They never offered single games.
Can't get the deal from: http://www.thephins.com/forums/show...ve-this-year&p=2629852&viewfull=1#post2629852 ?
Europe. Edit: Until such time as I can reliably get Dolphins games, every week, w/o DirecTV (which I'm canceling...cutting the cable...saving A LOT of $$$ per month), they won't get any $$$ from me.
I got Preseason Live last season and loved it. I also was weighing getting Game Pass for $79 or whatever it was, but ultimately opted out. I do wish us fans had a choice on getting the less expensive preseason-only option, BUT... after all, it's not a huge deal to me. I'll go ahead and pay the $100. It really is worth the money, and I was likely going to get both Game Pass and Preseason Live anyway.
Exactly.... It's complete bull****. Last year I was able to connect with a US VPN and get the preseason pack for cheap, I was hoping to do that again this year, but I guess that's out of the question now. Greedy pricks. Ive got Sunday Ticket here, so I dont need the full season option, just the preseason, so yeah, this really bothers me.
Agree 100%...I'm hoping I can catch 'em on streams somewhere. Wife just decided for me, that we'll wait until after the season to cancel DirecTV, so hopefully (after I get Sunday Ticket on the free tip for 2015), they'll have something better set up for streaming for 2016...I know they're working on it, I spoke with an NFL rep on live chat and they said it is definitely being set up for the future.
yeah, right....lol i could get a pitcher at my local sports bar for 5 - 7 bucks and watch whatever games i want. 6.99 for ONE GAME, thats ridiculous to me.
It's not intended for that purpose tho. You'd just pay the $119 for the whole season and be done with it. That's ultimately what they're steering you towards. The single games are for just that. As a Heat fan, this would have been great during the Big 3 era where -- as a non-local Floridian -- only a handful of games weren't freely available to me each year. Instead, I'd end up buying the full NBA league pass (because I'm crazy). This would have saved me at least $150 per year. The new package sounds great for me personally. - posted via Tapatalk -
Pitcher of beer, food, tax, tip, etc -vs- $6.99 sitting in your recliner at home. Over 82 games, it's $1.45 per game for the team option. I think this is great for one-offs or if you just want to watch a handful of non-televised games. - posted via Tapatalk -
Damn right. You're already spending enough time in the bars Saturdays and Sundays during football season, plus nightlife. Older Muck doesn't want any part of week nights. - posted via Tapatalk -
