I don't want to see it reduced either but I just have a feeling there negotiations that have taken place will bring it to two games if they agree to that.

Except Rodgers himself said they put more air than allowed in them. You may be right. Perhaps those over-inflated balls have never made it through. But maybe they have. And if they have, then Rodgers is guilty of playing with illegal balls. I'm just not understanding why everyone is so quick to dismiss what Rodgers said, and so quick to say it's not cheating to play with over-inflated balls, if they happened to get through a check.

This isn't about the fact that Tom Brady cheated FFiC. This is all about him being caught red-handed flat out lying, refusing to cooperate in any way at all, and impeding the NFL's investigation throughout the entire process. The owners have every right to be angry and want to hold Tom Brady accountable with a fair punishment, and I believe a 4 game suspension fits the crime perfectly, along with the draft picks being taken away and the $1,000,000 team fine. They own an NFL team and play on the same fields that Tom Brady and the Cheatriots do, too. If I owned an NFL team you can bet for damn sure I'd be holding Roger Goodell's feet to the fire on this one right along beside them.

It ruins the integrity of the game, and this ignorant circus Brady keeps prancing around looks horrible on him and the league. The owners should and will protect their investment. The Patriots have been cheating since the "Snow Plow" game as far back as I can remember, and I'm sure they cheated before that and just didn't get caught. Cheating runs VERY deep with that organization. This isn't some fluke accident that just now came to light. The Patriots are habitual cheaters with no signs of slowing down any time soon. If Tom Brady's sentence is reduced it just gives him and the team incentive to keep on cheating without fear of any meaningful repercussion. At what point do the other NFL owners get to stand up and say, "Enough is ENOUGH!!!"? How many times do Brady and the Cheatriots have to get caught before the owners should care?

B/c things aren't exact. And we know that there could be a small loss in pressure between the time they're filled and the time they're checked. Trying to get as close as possible to the top of the range would naturally include putting more air than is allowed at first. If you go too high the ref's should reduce it. It's the difference between working within the system and cheating.

Bro I agree I was just posting parts of the article. As B-Hop (Brad Hopkins) said this week on XM Sirius radio its about upholding the NFL Shield. He stated no one is above the shield.

[h=1]Report: NFL believes Tom Brady will accept a shorter suspension[/h]
Settlement talks between Tom Brady and the NFL have gone nowhere so far, but that could change soon.
According to Bleacher Report's Jason Cole, the league believes Brady will eventually accept a deal that would involve Brady's four-game suspension being reduced. Although the potential deal would cut down Brady's suspension, it wouldn't reduce it to zero and Brady would still miss games.
The NFL's belief, according to Cole, is that Brady will want to get a deal done before training camp so that he can focus exclusively on football. Under that timeline, a deal between Brady and the NFL would have to be done by July 29, when the Patriots veterans are scheduled to report to camp.
One of the sticking points in the settlement talks so far is that league doesn't want to agree to a deal unless there's an "admission of guilt by Brady on some level," according to NFL.com.

If the league reduces the suspension, they'll have done a "Lucy", and pulled the ball out from under the rest of the teams and their fans just as training camp was about to open. The suspension was too short to begin with. To reduce it in any way is a slap in the face, and just bowing down to Kraft, Brady, Hoodie and the rest of those :censored:

I'm just waiting for the headline coming up:

Brady Graciously Accepts 1 Preseason Game Suspension; Forgives Gooddell, Vincent, Wells For Their Failure In Judgement; NFL Issues Formal Apology To Patriots Organization.

Well, I for one, do not care who the player(s) are that cheated...if you need to cheat to win then the Player, the HC, and the Owner need to all be punished. Goodell needs to, and better put a stop to the Patriot Way, which obviously includes doing whatever it takes including CHEATING to win Football games. Again, they have been CAUGHT CHEATING 3 times....Do they think that the Owners and the Fans are dumb enough to believe that they only cheated 3x's? Please, don't insult us in this way!

And that's not even including the bullsh*t formation stuff they pulled last playoffs...that the league has banned...they knew damn well it went against the spirit of the rules regarding formations and line play, but they couldn't help but be sneaky little b*tches.

Yep, they have got away with that sh** in two different playoff games that I know of and can remember now that you reminded me. Thanks, I had forgot all about that BS!

You say it's obvious you are a DolFan.....not knowing you better, your vehement defense of the defenseless Cheatriots, leaves me wondering.....I smell a rat.

I agree, because Brady doesn't want the dreaded " * " after his name forever.

Can we stop questioning the fandom of everyone who didn't believe that the Patriots are the ultimate evil, and that the only reason they won was because they cheated? Especially with the football deflation, I just don't think that was a major catalyst of their wins.

    Yes.

    No.

They are cheaters and have been caught multiple times. The numbers don't lie, but Brady does. Its not sour grapes, its fact.

I'm not going to question anyone's fandom, but I'm also continually confused by those who go to such great lengths to defend New England. They're rotten to the core, and I don't understand how that doesn't enrage everyone.
