I don't dispute any of that. Based on their 2015 roster, I don't think having the longest active playoff drought is meaningful information regarding their upcoming season.

If Buffalo had a top 10 QB, you wouldn't consider them legit contenders for the SB?

It's always odd the way Miami fans disregard NE every season. It's like, every season is the year NE's wheels fall off. They're the defending super bowl champions, with he best coach in the NFL. They're def. the kings of the AFC until someone in this division dethrones them after 16 games.

You conveniently chose to ignore the other part of my statement

Again, because they look good on paper? Nope. Given their history, and the history of this divison, they don't deserve benefit of doubt until proven otherwise.
Every.single.offseason. I'm sure part of it is people just not wanting to go in to the season psyched out right off the bat, so it's easier to bend fact to fit their narratives so they could have faith for few months. I hope the narrative changes this year because of the change on the field, not because we tell each other that on a message board.

Exactly. It's NE until proven otherwise although I'd even say that 'threat' is the wrong word. To me, saying that something is a 'threat' to the Dolphins suggests they've actually gained something to be threatened. They haven't. 'Challenge' or 'obstacle' are better words since the Dolphins aren't in any place to be holding ground, they need to be taking ground from someone else.

So if we're going to use the word 'threat' I'd say that the Phins should be focusing on themselves being the biggest threat to everyone else in the division.

Cheatriots are the team to beat in the AFCE, there is no doubt of that one. Though this yr with Brady suspended, they will be an easier out, and they lost Spikes.

One thing that Rexxy does is use what he has rather well, watch Special Teams will win them games this season, something that Rizzi has failed to do in the last two yrs with any consistency. Belicheat also understands the 3 phases to the game and wins via pressuring opponents in that phase.

This is one of a host of reasons Philbin is a .500 coach, he does not "get" that with any consistency, apply pressure and one of our 3 areas cracks, costing us wins.

He worries me more that the other two..but we should win those games, no more losing to inferior qbs, our defense is to talented to let inexperienced qbs or below average qbs beat score more that 7 to 10 points on us.
