Uh..I verified his income. I know he is good for it. If I MAKE A BET on Twitter or on HERE, you best believe I would pay. I am KNOWN. I work for high profile people, and represent others that are quite famous now. Trust me..I am safe to make a bet with. You are out of your depth here. You are not seeing the overall picture.
I just laughed my *** off so damn hard after seeing Section's post with the guy's picture and calling him a scumbag/deadbeat whilst holding his two kids like a joyous happy family. TEARSSSSSSSSSSSS
You wouldn't vouch for me? If I stiff you on a bet, you can cause me to lose in excess of 100k in salary. That makes me a perfect guy to vouch for.
Well, with the season over (thank God for us Heat fans), we can now move our focus to the draft and FA. Here is my wish list for the Heat. What is yours for your team? 1. Look into moving up for Mario Hezonja or Justise Winslow. I doubt they'll have the resources, but some teams are looking to move down and they'd probably only have to get up to 7 or 8 to get one of them. Hezonja has the chance to be a star and would give the Heat exactly what they need. Winslow would also be an excellent fit. 2. After probably striking out on that, draft Stanley Johnson, Devin Booker, Kelly Oubre, or Sam Dekker at 10. I could live with Kaminsky or Turner as well, but the Heat are in pretty good shape with their power rotation and could really use a wing with potential. Each of these guys has their own strengths and weaknesses, but I would be happy with any of the 4. 3. Find a way to make it work with Wade. After Pat Riley, Wade is the face of the franchise. You really don't want to lose him after all that he's done for this team, and he probably still has at least a couple more years of high-level play. Find a way to front-load the deal so that you make him happy and still give yourself some room moving forward. 4. Re-sign Dragic. This could be the most important move on here. He's a very good player in his prime and gives you something you haven't had in a very long time. You will probably have to overpay him, but it's probably worth it. 5. Find a shooter in FA. We'll have to see if they'll be willing to use the MLE, but they need to add some shooting to this team. It has always been a staple of the good Heat teams and it was sorely missing last year. Chris Bosh is great, but he can't be your best outside shooter. Danny Green is probably not realistic, but Danny Green was cut by several teams before he caught on in SA. Find someone who can shoot the basketball.
It's great when 5 John Zanders in Columbus have in excess of 740 Credit ratings, and 3 of them are doctors/lawyers. I think I found the guy.
BTW, I made a bet with a Pacer fan last year, for DOUBLE this amount...on Twitter....I verified his income, saw he was a "real" person.... He..Paid. This scumbag makes MORE than that guy...he stiffs me on $500. You don;t think I am going to use my extra time to **** with him, especially since it costs me nothing?
Last lesson...don;t enter into a written contract in Florida kids...... I kinda wish we did bet the 5k...I could then Sue his *** for it, because it would be worth paying a lawyer $600 to go for it.
The marketing money in big markets is huge. In fact, it's often several times what the player makes in salary in any given year. As a frame of reference, Kobe made $34 million from endorsements in 2014. How much of that would go to Love if he became the #1 guy in LA after Kobe retires? Obviously it's a gamble, but I wouldn't see it as shocking for Love to leave. And frankly, I'm not sure it wouldn't be in Cleveland's best interest anyways.
I don't think you got my point. It had nothing to do with you being accountable. It had to do with trusting random people on the internet to be accountable. If someone tells me so and so will vouch for him the first thing I do is ask so and so. You seemingly just took the random internet guy's word for it. I'll admit I'm probably out of my depth, tho. I'm just looking at it from a high level point of view. Although, it's kind of funny you're going through all this trouble for $500 when you make 6 figures. Zander done messed with wrong guy...break legs for $500?!?!
Never seen what looks to end in someone's legs being broken unfold first person before. Sent from my Transformer TF101 using Tapatalk 4
Good points. The Wade thing is still strange to me. It's hard to analyze, or say who should do what when we don't know what the problem actually is. Was Wade promised something last summer that the team is now going back on? Is he just pissed because he opted out and wants that money back? Is he upset that the team prefers him to opt in rather than do a long term deal? Since Skolnick walked back his "report" of the $10 million per year offer we have been given absolutely no information as to actually what this dispute is or why it has come up. I love Skolnick, but for him to just keep saying over and over that "Wade is serious" without giving any context, the reports are worthless and doesn't allow the reader to make any kind of informed opinion or draw any real conclusion. Simply, I don't know what Wade is looking for. He controls the opt out. If he doesn't exercise it, he doesn't exercise it. It's his option. I don't know why the fact that the team prefers him to opt in would anger him. That's not a negative. And they've guaranteed him $16 million next year, which is probably around exactly what he's actually worth. I hope the situation resolves, but if it doesn't, I won't blame anybody. This is a salary capped world. There is only so much to go around.
The bruise wide and get blood droplets. Point of impact usually opens a wound you close with stitches.
Fair. Tho I wonder if winning (or potentially winning) rings in Cleveland is worth a decent amount compared to getting stomped in the Western Conference in LA. He has a shoe deal, that big chocolate milk sponsorship - a deal with Starter. I'm sure being in LA is better, but winning in Cleveland might not be a terrible option for endorsements, either. Also - the Lakers are just promising he'll be one of many stars they hope to attract. So it's not really a guarantee that things are better than they are here. Except he gets to be with Kobe Bryant and Byron Scott. Boston is the team to watch in all this, I think.
If you know this guy, and can convince him to pay the $500. YOU CAN KEEP IT. The money is yours. In fact..let's just say I owe you $500. How's that? LOL
Back to basketball...(I''ll go back to ruining this guys life on my own time) The Heat is willing to pay Wade the MAX for One Year. That is $23mil for 1 year, then promise to revisit him in 16' as a bird rights FA. If Wade won't play for the 1 year deal, then he Must play for a DE-escalating Heat Deal that starts at $16mil, so it can get below the threshold for the Heat to add ANOTHER max contract in 16'. If Wade declines both options...then you MUST tell him to go **** himself. In fact..I would volunteer to do it myself. He has no leverage. Your leverage just signed Lance Stephenson over you. Go play for the Knicks buddy.
I'm dead serious. This info dig, and credit inquiry costs me nothing. if you can collect the money. You keep it.
You act like playing with melo and a 4th pick and Phil running things would be a bad choice. If Phil stays they will win a chip within 3 years
Boik..I love you. Your Knicks are an abortion. I feel as if I am telling you that there is no santa claus.
Again, lol. "Phil running things" as if that means anything. I appreciate that you want to be optimistic Boik, but come on.
I don't want the team to get into a squabble with Wade, but option 1 seems more than fair. But again, we don't really know what Wade wants or what specifically has gotten him to this point. I just want this resolved quickly, one way or another. Let's say the poop hits the fan and he leaves. If Deng also opts out and we renounce him, what is our cap situation?
Wade and Kevin Love are gonna team up in LA and Cavs and Heat fans will finally come together against a common enemy.
I'm Jewish anyway so there's no Santa for me haha. Time will tell. I don't think I'm being optimistic for the sake if it. When Isiah was there I said I didn't like him. I've always criticized Dolan. So I don't feel like I'm saying anything that's not realistic. A guy with 13 rings is running the show and we have 25m plus this year and 30m plus next year to play with plus a high draft pick this year, 4 trade exceptions and a few young talents and euro stash players as assets. Only other person I'd want running the show on the planet besides Phil mutha****in Jackson would be RC Buford because that dude could throw poop in a pool and pull out gold.
Hassanity getting into the information mystery business. See if you decipher this quote Whiteside gave when asked about the Heat's "roster flux" per Winderman: "you're going to want to have a Heat jersey next season. That's all I'm going to say" Who wants to be the first to recklessly and irresponsibly speculate?
I love you, man, but you're high as a ****ing kite if you really believe that. For that to happen, Melo would need to both stay healthy, AND not regress at all over that period of time; the guy they draft at 4 would have to not only become a star, but would have to do so quickly; they would need to add another borderline all-star (at worst); and they'd need to add some good role players. Then, all of those parts would have to fit together neatly, and Fisher would have to prove to be a good HC. The odds of all of that happening, are what, less than 5%? Less than 1%? And Phil staying for 3 more years is just as unrealistic as them winning a championship.
