Love that shot of Tripp walking out the door, arms raised, head thrown back like he's going to a freaking party. Love it.
Honestly, I'm not a fan, I liked the old one. I've seen plenty of player with that style of helmet, but what is the point of the hexagon on the forehead? It makes the stripe going down the middle look cheap too.
The helmet is a series of plates designed to absorb shock through out the entire helmet. The hexagon is designed to give during crown to crown hits. A13OVEAVERAGE posted this video in another thread.
If it's better, than I'm all for it, I just think it looks weird. Any other QB's wearing those style helmets? I can't think of any off the top of my head.
dude, its lighter, and protects better, who the hell cares what it looks like, a lighter helmet can help our qb get his head around quicker.
I just said if it's better than I'm all for it! I was just curious if other QB's had started switching to it.
Me, or him? I think I can explain him better. You've got way too much time on your hands if you're posting on an internet message board about other people playing a game. Such is modern life.
Philbin has a different look to him this year. Starting to look more like an NFL head coach. I like it.
