According to the schedule this will be the first decent run of OTA's this off-season. Hopefully it'll be a nice chance to get a look at how Stills, Jennings and, of course, Landry, are doing, what with the shiny distraction of Parker being gone temporarily. Anyone know how many of them will be open to the press?
i'm on my iPad right now, to much of a pain in the *** to post them through that but this link here is very nice https://mobile.twitter.com/MarinoBot13/lists/dolphins-beat-writers
@chrisperk: Appears DE Cam Wake limited today. No helmet. Think he was limited last week but not totally sure. This makes me lol. Top notch journalism work in South Florida.
Adam Beasley @AdamHBeasley 12m12 minutes ago Jarvis Landry just made the catch of the spring. Left handed for a touchdown away from his body. James Walker @JamesWalkerNFL 2m2 minutes ago Today's OTA standouts were WR Jarvis Landry and QB Ryan Tannehill. Both had very strong days. #Dolphins Sounds like Juice was on today. But When is he not? Interesting he caught a couple TD's.... I think his role could be expanding big time this year.
Jarvis Landry's one-handed catch today. http://www.miamidolphins.com/multim...nd-Catch/aaa2a5de-eef3-4576-a93b-6f69a9f358e7 Pure sex.
Probably nothing worth writing about but there have been a few things during these rounds of OTAs that make me wonder how it would come out if a coach did an honest assessment of how Tannehill was doing.
really nice adjustment on a poorly thrown pass, made it look easy..he's so talented within his range. jamil douglas getting love with the first team and compliments from the staff...''he's picking up the system quickly and he looks real good.''
Chris Perkins @chrisperk · 21s21 seconds ago Tannehill to Michael Preston on deep ball...and they connect...rejoice!!! Keep that sh*t comin' RT...keep it comin'.
No...just glad to see it is all. I don't make a stance off one play, like that one RT incompletion we see over and over. Edit: It's just a little gravy on top of: James Walker @JamesWalkerNFL 32s33 seconds ago “@P4allin1: omar's bad luck for the offense. lol”-Interesting. Tannehill is dealing today, especially in red zone. Kind of odd. @OmarKelly Ya I know it's OTAs, still good to hear.
When's the first scrimmage? That's when I start to take a little stock in how these guys are doing. Positions and egos are at stake then.
miami came within 4 snaps of having more turnover in personnell than any other team...I say will done Hickey.
just to add to this because predraft I don't think I could figure it out, I kept saying redraft that jarvis had limitations the longer he got away from the los, and while that still may be somewhat true, when i say he's so talented within his own scope or range I mean that, he can do anything anyone else can do, relative to his size and speed, you know what I'm saying?..I mean that catch was superb, the ease for which he did it makes it even more impressive..thats hi level talent in action...jordan and turner have already stated that it was the best catch they ever saw. so what I'm trying to say is lb for lb, inch for inch, tenth of a second by tenth of a second, we may have the most overall talented receiver in the league..
i thought it might, sorry, so as far as turnover in personnell goes around the league, we lost more snaps from players that are not departed then any other team except 1
im refferring to the announcement that there would be an alternate uniform? was that a throwback? and did they show it?
From pics above: - Deandre Coleman's (#62) tattoo on the inside of his left arm say "Beaver Kettle"? -- (Hoping it's really "Never Settle"). - Derrick Shelby looks like he's about to "raw dawg" that tackling dummy. - Misi looks slimmer this year. - WR, Michael Preston, (#19) looks big and ripped. Someone should've warned him about the curse of #19. - Franks looks 4' tall. - Wake modeling his underwear just to tease DJ. - Nice to see Mike Liedtke (#69), is still with us thus far.
Thought it was never settle, also. Also, thought it would be better as 'never settle' My ***** is less veiny than Michael Preston's forearms... Is Franks kicking with a boner?
It's a throwback from the inaugural season. They'll wear it during the Giants game on MNF. They just haven't said if it'll be the all-white or the aqua on white. My guess, since it's a night game, is that it'd be aqua.
