Ugh this blows for the basketball fans with no dog in the fight. I really wanted to see a 7 game series with these two teams healthy as could be. Probably next year.
eh... about 4 million per more than I would have liked but oh well.. I just hope we are able to make Dragic and Whiteside in, to me that's priority.
Lol, so you did. That's interesting. It says that was from 2 days ago, yet more wasn't made of it. I'm curious if Section has heard anything echoing this.
Durant to Miami was unrealistic anyways. I dont think 2016 is in the plans. Our core of McRoberts, Bosh, Whiteside, Dragic and the draft pick we will select in a few weeks is the future of the Heat and that's a damn bright future. With or without Wade the Heat are in good shape.
Potentially kill them. Wade being a free agent in '16 would mean if we signed somebody big first, then we could exceed the cap because Wade is a returning free agent. Otherwise a sign-and-trade is our only option. http://www.cbafaq.com/salarycap.htm#Q93
If it is a de-escalating deal (which it probably is) it threads the needle for an additional max contract in 16'. If they are player options in yr 2 and 3, and he opts out, it works much like the Heat wanted it to work.
Its Steph Curry jerseys everywhere here in Vegas...after this title im guessing they quadruple the fanbase (not including Heat fan temporary adoption) gotta love the "fans" if American Team sports.
That foot injury with Durant scares the hell out of me. I know these big contracts aren't as crippling as they once were, but once a 7-footer gets repeated foot injuries I get very leery of the risk/reward balance.
Played the 1500 shootout, busted 3rd @table...felt dominant but made a crucial mistake that crippled me allowing dude to call with flush draw soon after and it came. Fun tournament though, got booted later that night playing cash after some fat bearded kid beat me out of 1200 on two 3 outers in a 30 min span. Called him a sorry motherf---- and asked the dealer why he keeps sucking his d---. Ahhhh Coronas.
NH GG FU. Had a few friends playing in the Colossus. Mostly nothing but one guy ran deep (for a 23k+ person tourney) and finished 500-somethingth. Payout structure absolutely sucked.
Have you heard anything about this reported deal? Or anything more encouraging than your last report?
It doesn't surprise me at all that Riley likes Dekker. He seems like the type of player that Riley covets. We know he had a hard-on for Mike Miller for some time before getting him. I'd be happy if the Heat ended up with any of those names, although I think Booker might be my favorite right now followed by Johnson. Oubre's upside is also very tempting, though.
Nothing about Wade's contract status or future, I was at least hoping to see how he dodged the question.
This is some horrible basketball. Too many injuries in the nba this year, people are going to say these games are awesome but its really bad basketball.
No fast breaks or nasty contested dunks, what is this ****. Just a casual fan, but I feel like I was robbed of a clippers/golden state WCF. The conference finals were terrible to watch, but I have to wait 2 days to see this? The game has been close the whole time, but it's hard to stay focused. Maybe I should just focus on Curry playing off the ball?
Uhm right, Cavaliers got every favorable call possible. Mozgov flopped so many times for loose ball foul calls, and they gave Lebron free throws for tripping over himself. They should be thanking the refs for keeping it close.
Congrats to the Cavs. Great game. Lebron is incredible. Kerr got out coached too. Tho it helps when Curry has his worst game of the season.
They got the calls most of the night, but they got screwed on a couple big ones late. It took a pretty awful game on both ends and one of Curry's worst in the playoffs for them to lose, though, and it still went to OT. I thought that the Warriors might relax a little bit tonight coming off the win the way they did and Kyrie getting hurt. It will be interesting to see what happens in game 3. I could see the Warriors beating them soundly, but if LeBron goes off again and they win, this could be a tough series.
I think Cleveland gets one more win, I didn't think one would be in Cali, but I figured at least one home win. I'm thinking Cleveland wins the next game, and then they're done.
Lebron's squad got the job done. Gotta hand it to them; when the game was on the line, the extra effort did it.
Spoken like a true Golden State Heat fan. "Every" favorable call? Too bad you didnt watch the game, ecspecially the last 5 minutes.
Holding Steph to Curry to 0 from 13 shots and forcing 4 turnovers maybe is a sign that Dellavedova might not be a scrub. If Steph makes just one basket against Dellavedova Warriors win.
