Did that comedy show with RVD last night. He is exactly how he comes across on TV. Laid back, quiet and...constantly high.

At one point, I went outside and he was smoking weed and he asks, "hey Sam, you have any weed?" To which I replied, "no, but aren't you literally smoking weed right now?" His response? "Yeah, but that doesn't mean I don't want more."

Made me laugh, at least. He wore a Damien Sandow shirt on stage, in case anyone is wondering.

So the news is all over the internets that ROH will be on Destination America as the lead-in to Impact starting on June 3rd. It's hard to see how this isn't the deathblow for TNA as a company. I'm excited to see what happens with ROH but I'm also a bit sad that TNA will most likely not be around much longer. Still, this makes Wednesdays the new Monday Night Wars, with NXT, Lucha Underground, and ROH all now airing around the same time. Now watch someone like PWG or Chikara announce that they are running a show at the same time.

TNA is done. MVP, who is one of their premier talents, essentially spilled the beans on Twitter. It's too bad, that had a unique product, with their own stars to build around, and threw it away to chase names like Hogan, Bischoff, Flair and more.

I suppose they last longer than I thought they would, but it is essentially, a lost opportunity to differentiate itself from WWE. Instead, they tried to clone it. NXT essentially has become what TNA should have been.

That being said, ROH has been a name for awhile and will certainly get some national rub for this. I am curious as to how this effects Samoa Joe since ROH is now a nationally televised brand, which I think he is forbidden to appear on with his NXT deal. Losing him at the start of this would 't be a death blow. But it wouldn't help.

What's the over/under on the WWE buying out TNA's tape library and putting out "The Fall of TNA"?

Quite honestly, that is probably the only thing worthwhile for Vince to get. Close the loop for guys like Sting, Flair, Hogan, and even Angle, for future specials/releases.

I don't know if there is much, in terms of talent, that they would want. Maybe some of the divas. I suspect most of the wrestlers will flood ROH, Lucha Underground and the indies/overseas, which would be kind of cool to see the influx of talent there.

But NXT is so strong, and the youth movement on the main roster is in full swing, that I think bringing in any of the "names" would be a bad idea.

WWE will absolutely want the tape library and probably make a profit doing a few TNA DVDs/Blu Rays.

Word is the WWE really isn't interested in any TNA talent so it's probably to ROH, GFW or Japan for them which is a shame. Like WCW, TNA had a lot of talent, the company was just mismanaged. It's too bad the WWE doesn't and probably never will have another wrestling organization that would truly challenge them. Competition is a good thing.

I definitely wouldn't mind having some of their female talent. If there was one thing that TNA had over the WWE, it's their women's division.

And Owens is being advertised for every RAW and Smackdown leading to summerslam. Looks like someone opened some eyes and has been pushed through the top and onto the main roster. Hopefully he goes over Cena Sunday.

Lesnar is also scheduled to wrestle Kofi Kingston on July 4th at a house show in Japan.

Sheamus has been cast as Rocksteady in TMNT 2, which is good for him and me (so he goes away for a while and I don't have to watch him wrestle).

The Owens thing is interesting though, wonder what plans they have for him and hopefully they don't screw it up.

I would love if he "dropped" the NXT title cause hes "better" than it now....keeping heat on him, but allowing someone like Balor take it over while he moves onto the WWE.

Yeah that would be cool, I wonder if the WWE will move Samoa Joe up to the main roster as well to feud with Owens at Summer Slam or something like that. I mean really how much time does a guy like Joe need at development.

I thought the EC PPV was fine. The Owens/Cena match was very freaking good and I'm pretty shocked Owens won clean, I thought for sure we were going to get a screwy finish. Interesting that they already booked the rematch for MiTB.

The tag team EC match was ok but a bit of a mess. The IC title match was ok too but nothing ground breaking or specular just kind of there. Ambrose/Rollins match was fine too minus the finish but I understand it.

I must say it was nice having a PPV without all of the top superstars on the card (Orton, Wyatt, Reigns), we don't always need to see them each month.

I think MiTB is leading to Reigns winning the brief case and costing Ambrose the win against Rollins by mistake leading to tension between the two guys and it will ultimately lead to the Shield triple threat title match at Summer Slam.

Two popular opinions/theories going on about MiTB:

    1. Brock beats up one of the MiTB wrestlers (most likely Kofi because it makes zero sense he's in the match) before the match and takes his spot and wins. Leaving Rollins paranoid wondering when Brock is going to come back to cash it in.

    2. Reigns wins the brief case, Ambrose wins the title from Rollins at the PPV. At the end of the night both are in the ring celebrating when Reigns attacks Ambrose, beats him up, cashes in and wins the title and turns into a tweener ala Diesel at the end of his 1996 WWF run. Leads to a Shield triple threat match at Summer Slam.

Both would be great. Where would that leave Brock, I wonder?

    (If the second one happens)

I prefer Reigns winning the MitB match and doing the RVD thing of ANNOUNCING when he will use the briefcase. Just to do something different.

I also like the idea of Brock coming back and just destroying everyone and everything, including Reigns, Ambrose and Rollins. Leading to drastic measures and a reunion of The Shield in order to rid itself of The Sword (Brock).

PPV was okay. The crowd was lethargic which didn't help matters, but the in-ring action was good.

And Daniel Bryan announced he would be back in the ring, which I hope is true and was not him just looking for a cheap pop.

Reports are flying that Samoa Joe has now signed a full time contract with WWE after his initial merchandise sold out quickly and impressed Vince/HHH, along with his work at the NXT takings.

He is finishing up his Indy bookings and will be reporting soon, to WWE.

    WHOA.

After Raw tonight...Stone Cold did his podcast with Paul Heyman on WWE Network.....

A lot of Kay Fabe stuff.....but then...Heyman proposes a Stone Cold vs. Lesnar match at WM at AT&T stadium....Stone Cold then goes full blown in character promo and finishes the last 5 minutes of the show cutting a promo on Lesnar and Heyman. he finishes the podcast IN CHARACTER.

    hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

This was odd. There Might be something to this. If you follow SC's podcasts, he has been saying forever, that he does envision one last match at the right venue, right opponent. He has also been training to hold under 250 pounds as of late.

    2 + 2 might equal 4 this time?

Geez I think it might have been something to get people talking because I really doubt the WWE would let Austin step into the ring with Brock and have him take multiple german suplexes with his neck. I think Austin would be crazy to do it. If Austin were going to work a match I would think a safer opponent like Cena, Orton or Bryan would make more sense.

Also Samoa Joe worked a dark match last night against Tyson Kidd and make have injured him.

    Shield Triple Threat

    Brock / Austin

    Taker / Sting

    Rock / HHH

Wyatt / Harper (get them feuding soon)

Shawn Michaels / Daniel Bryan (dream texas match)

WM 32 would sell out 100k with that card.

^ You're not the only one. Owens seems to be bringing out the best in Cena and vice versa. Owens has been hand gifted a huge opportunity and not only is he running with it, hes downright catapulting himself above the majority of mid-carders that have been on the roster for years.

  25. Samphin

Samphin Κακό σκυλί ψόφο δεν έχει

A little early for Feud Of the Year, as it has only lasted about three weeks, and one match, at this point. But they did have a pretty good match and most likely, will have another one in a few weeks. I would put The Rusev-Cena feud above it, for now, based on the longevity, the multiple matches in which both competitors won and a decent conclusion.

I think you can also make a case for Ambrose-Rollins, as it has basically been an ongoing issue for close to a year now.

But really, it is impossible to pick one when Brock Lesnar hasn't reared his head back yet. I have a feeling that he will be there at the end for any and all major award discussions.

Also of note. I think WWE missed an opportunity to have a great RAW this past week. Instead of simply naming the people for the MitB match, why not have them qualify by being in a match? You can still do the Roman Reigns angle where he has to wrestle three times, but why not let the other guys earn it, as well? And maybe spread it out to Smackdown! this week too?

And it doesn't have to be singles matches either. Make a "wacky tag team." where two of the competitors team up to face two others. Winning team is awarded spots in the MitB. Can you imagine the fun it would be if Dolph Ziggler and Kofi Kingston got paired up to face Xavier Woods and Big E? Especially if you do something sort of screwy like have Dolph PIN KOFI because the ref thinks he is Xavier? Great way to get the local crowd into the match, as well as give those two competitors a brief history going into the match.

Instead, I feel the missed the opportunity to do that and make the MitB feel more important. Too bad.

I really wouldn't get hopes up for a Brock/Austin match. Austin has a bad neck which is the reason why he retired. I know he's been training and working out but I really don't think the WWE would allow Austin to wrestle someone like Brock for the same reasons why they probably decided to keep Bryan away from Brock. One wrong suplex and Austin could be in a wheelchair for the rest of his life. Imagine if that happened on the biggest show of the year in front 100k fans? I think that was just Austin and Heyman messing with the fans more than setting up an angle.

WWE just announced that they will be airing the July 4th house show in Japan on the WWE Network at 7:00pm.

    The card so far is:
    Lucha Dragons vs. Los Matadores
Nikki vs. Paige vs. Naomi for the Diva title
New Day vs. Tyson Kidd and Cesaro for the tag titles
    Chris Jericho vs. Neville
Kevin Owens vs. Finn Balor for the NXT title
    Brock Lesnar vs. Kofi
Cena & Ziggler vs. Kane & Barrett

This is exactly the kind of stuff that the WWE should be doing more of. Glad they're starting to realize this and are putting more specials like this on the Network.

You'd think something semi-big would happen here, most likely a title change just to get people talking so I'd guess Balor wins the NXT title here as Owens is now a main roster guy.

Tyson Kidd suffered a pretty serious neck injury during his dark match with Samoa Joe. The WWE is keeping the nature of the injury a secret but word among the wrestlers is it could keep him out of action for several months.

Really sucks and hope it isn't serious. Cesaro and Kidd were finally getting over and clicking. Wrestling is weird though, maybe it means Cesaro will finally break out on his own.

So according to Meltzer, Vince is once again unhappy with Steve Austin's latest podcast with Heyman. Main reason why is because both Stone Cold and Heyman teased a match with Brock at WM but Vince does not want Austin to wrestle as the risk of injury with him in the ring due to his health and age is too high.

The reason why Bray Wyatt has been losing lately is because the WWE is going to turn him babyface soon and they feel it doesn't matter if he keeps losing until then. Also the WWE originally wanted to reunite Bray with Harper and Rowan but decided against it because then they would have pressure to reunite The Shield and having both groups reunite would lessen the reunions.

I feel like Bray as a face would ruin his character even more than the past year. Wish they never broke up the family, never had him start singing "You got the whole world in his hands" crap and stopped having him do 5 minute promos about nothing whenever they needed to kill time on RAW/Smackdown.
