Apparently there are conflicting reports. Here's the first one I read:

    http://www.f4wonline.com/more/more-top-stories/96-wwe-news/42484-major-surprise-at-raw-tonight

    Here's the latest report:

    http://411mania.com/wrestling/potential-spoiler-for-tonights-raw-return/

Basically who knows so we will have to wait and see.

Just brutal that Daniel Bryan has zero luck when it comes to injuries. Really sucks for him, the WWE and the fans. You have to wonder if this is it for him.

Wonder what's going to happen to the IC title but I bet it goes to BNB and continues to be used as a prop.

Interesting that the WWE decided last minute to turn a regular house show into the Elimination Chamber PPV event, again its stuff like this now that they have the WWE Network they should be randomly doing.

Also about the Network, apparently the reason why they haven't been adding older content is because according to the WWE no one watches it, the most popular shows the last few weeks have been the new Springer show and the 24/7 special on Reigns. I find it hard to believe that if they put the rest of the Nitro series and all the Attitude Era RAWs and it was promoted people wouldn't watch them.

If the WWE is serious about making the IC title seem important then wouldn't it make sense to make the Elimination Chamber match for the IC title and make it the main event? That way the whole focus of the show is that belt, making it seem like a big deal and is something different besides a tournament which the WWE just had for the King of the Ring.

EDIT: Apparently the Tag Team titles and IC titles will be in the Elimination Chamber. The World and US titles will also be defended but no word if they will be in the cage too.

The elimination chamber is amazing, imagine if you bought $20 tickets to the house show and now get this? So cool. Hope they bring back stuff like Halloween Havoc, Bash at the beach, War games etc. The gimmick matches and ppv's need to be like this. King of the Ring, TLC, Hell in a cell, Elimination chamber should not be huge monthly ppv......well maybe KOTR.....but the random network exclusive things are awesome!

BTW I love the Cena open challenge more than anything right now. He's elevating the **** out of these young guys. Zayn looked like a million bucks with an injury last week, and Neville was going to win ****ing clean if it wasnt for a Rusev run in. Dude kicks out of the AA, then hits a Red arrow, and instead of them making red arrow look weak with Cena kicking out, Rusev gets atomic heat by running in. Great stuff.

Hate it about Bryan. I'd like to think he may come back, like HBK did a few times. Amazing if WWE could keep him healthy, shelved, doing Tough Enough, and be a random 29 or 30 participant at the Rumble. Place would erupt. Have him face Rollins or Lesnar at Mania, win the title, keep it for a month or two, and drop it to Ambrose or Reigns; since he can't be trusted unfortunately to hold the title for awhile. However that's all a dream.

Real cool scenario would be Bryan comes out 27-30.....have HBK or someone run out, or be in the rumble as a guest appearance, and have him screw Bryan, causing HBK/Bryan dream match at Mania 32 in Texas.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Those never happended because Vince and the WWE didn't create them. Elimination Chamber is basically the WWE's verison of War Games.

Seriously though I think it's ever fanboys dream the WWE brings back those shows/gimmicks but it's highly doubtful. But now that we're in the Network Era, who knows. I mean why not do/try something different. Every WWE TV show has looked the same since the WWE got rid of the Smackdown only set and RAW's lay out is basically the same since 1997. I'd love to have them have another outdoor non WM event. Unfortunately it's doubtful because anything that has the hint of WCW on it the WWE views as something that is damaged or won't sell even though the majority of their biggest DVDs they have sold have been WCW characters or WCW themed. The Sting DVD outsold the new Macho Man DVD and Attitude ERA DVD combined.

Imagine the WWE having a Bash at the Beach event in July in an outdoor setting. Or a Halloween themed Network special.

It makes too much sense not to do that stuff as to why the WWE never will.

Finally got around to watching the ESPN E60 piece on the WWE/NXT and holy crap was it extremely well done. I admit I was never an Adam Rose fan, didn't like the character but after seeing the show I have much more respect for him as a person. I think the WWE has a shot to turn into himself something better then what he is now if they played him more off of his real life person instead of the character of Adam Rose. I mean who wouldn't want to root for a guy that wants to do better for himself and family?

I also came away liking Graves more too, I think he's pretty good at his new/current announcing gig and hope the WWE gives him more play by play opportunities moving forward with the main roster.

Xaiver Woods came off as a pretty likable guy too but he really didn't have that interesting back story.

Again this is stuff that the WWE should do with their Network. It would help get fans behind guys and give us a reason why to cheer for them instead of the WWE telling us to.

I kind of watched the PPV last night on and off, I thought the tag team title match was pretty damn good. Glad the WWE realized New Day is a million times better as heels and the Kidd/Cesaro team is great. I actually have hope for the tag team division for the first time in what over 10 years. I also thought the Cena/Rusev match was pretty good with a lot of hard hitting minus the lame predictible but needed ending.

I really enjoyed the main event too, really fun match with a bunch of cool moments. Loved the Shield reunion and the look Rollins gave when he realized that Ambrose and Reigns were going to turn on him. I was pretty surprised that Orton took the pin fall instead of Ambrose. I would imagine that we're going to get that Shield triple threat WWE title match at Summer Slam or WM.

Should be interesting to see how they book the Elimination Chamber PPV.

Yeah, maybe because people don't expect much from it when it does even average its viewed as above average.

I honestly can't remember any matches on last year's show except the Shield/Evolution match, I know Cena/Wyatt had a match and I'm thinking it was the last man standing match but really no clue.

Actually watched some of RAW for the 1st time since the RAW after WM I think. Loved the Kevin Owens segment, best part is Cena sold the promo and didn't go off on a goofy poopoo/peepee rant. Owens didn't look out of place and Cena helped make him look like a star. I'm somewhat worried about their match at EC as Cena shouldn't lose the title nor should Owens lose to Cena.

Sucks that the closing segment got zero reaction from the crowd, although I bet it had more to do with the crowd sitting watching wrestling for close to 4 hours at that time. It probably would have had more impact if they had kept Ambrose off TV until that point.

All and all EC PPV has some really really interesting matches, and has a lot of potential.

EC is amazing. Can't wait for it. Fun RAW last night. Owens coming out made me mark like a mofo. His promo was top notch. No stuttering, no mess-ups. Guy is going to be a star. I loved when he told Cena hes been doing this longer than him, he just wasnt handed anything by the WWE. ****ing balls!!!!

Regarding the EC PPV, I think it would make the most sense to start the PPV with the tag team title match and end the PPV with the IC title match. That way it makes the IC title seem important as it's closing the show and they seperate the two EC matches apart so fans have time to relax. They can put the WWE title match on 3rd to the top, sandwiching the Divas match in between that and the IC title match, so fans have the energy to cheer/boo for Ambrose and Rollins.

Yeah most likely they will have both EC matches back to back or something stupid like that. But I'd love for the IC title match to end the show with the announcers hyping up the title and talking about how the last time the IC title closed a show it was "X match between Y and Z" or talk about how the Bret Hart/Bulldog Summer Slam 1992 match closed the PPV and how it was a classic and Bret used that match as a springboard to the WWE title and how these guys have that opportunity blah blah blah.

As far as who's going to win, I have a feeling it will be Rusev which I think is a mistake. None of the 6 guys really excites me but I'd probably give the belt to Ziggler and let him have a long strong run with it, basically have him do whatever the plan was with Daniel Bryan.

Only saw the first hour so far, stop after the tag title match and unfortunately heard spoilers for the 2nd hour but will still go back and watch it.

I love Balor but I wish he had a better finisher, the double stomp just doesn't do anything for me. But man is he ready for the big leagues and will get over huge, especially with his entrance, if Vince just leaves him alone.

Might need to change the Thread name and take out the TNA and put in NXT as TNA has been cancelled by whatever hell channel they're on now which will stop airing episodes in September. TNA is probably on its last legs.

They are already selling Samoa Joe shirts, so it looks like he brokered a deal to lease the name, similar to CM Punk. I also read that he has a deal like Rhyno's and Kendrick's where he can still book Indy dats, but NXT takes precedent whenever they need him. If true, Joe is a hell of a negotiator.

Obviously this is something we'll never know, but I wonder if Triple H has something to do with him keeping his name. We all know Vince is super uptight about copyrights and licensing but maybe Triple H realizes that the Samoa Joe name would have more value than a WWE made up name as he's one of the last big name "Indy" stars out there that people would know.

Either way him just getting to keep his name is a miracle in itself.

So with Chris Jericho filming Tough Enough, touring with Fozzy and doing WWE house shows over the summer, the WWE is going to bring back the Stone Cold Steve Austin Podcast for the Network monthly, starting June 1st with Paul Heyman. Other guests are rumored to be The Undertaker, Sting and Hulk Hogan.

The Undertaker would be a really big guest to have and would be interesting to see him breaking character on the Network which is something both he and the WWE don't like to ever really do.

Just saw it, maybe the best WWE Diva/Women's match ever. Sasha Banks is fantastic.

I've never been a fan of women's wrestling except the short period when Trish, Lita, Molly Holly, Victoria etc were doing their thing in the early 2000s mainly because the division got watered down from women that wanted to wrestle to women that would wrestle but only got signed to do the annual Playboy shoot but with some of the talent like Banks, Charlotte, Becky Lynch, Baylee, Paige, Nattie and Naomi it will be good once the WWE gets rid of all the bikini models and let's the women actually wrestle. I truly hope Triple H and Stephanie are serious about giving the women more time. Hell RAW is 3 hours long, no reason why there can't be 2 Diva's matches a night and if they all wrestle to their potential fans will care about them and not treat it like a bathroom break.

Speaking of bikini models, loved that they showed Eva Marie last night at the NXT show and she literally got no reaction whatsoever.

Spoke to a source regarding Samoa Joe. Basically, if he gets called up to the main roster, he very well could see a name change. Basically, his deal now is pretty exclusive to NXT, hence the name being kept. If he gets to the main roster, Vince and Co., will start anew. It actually makes sense to me.

Basically, at this level, Joe can charge more with the Indy bookings by being associated with the WWE machine, NXT gets a grizzled veteran to pair with their young talent, a "name" to lend credibility to the NXT brand and Joe gets to pick and choose if he wants the main roster and a name change, or stay at this level and keep his name/brand.

Honestly I was expecting Baylor to debut on Raw, when Cena came out and dropped his "if you want some, come get some" promo.

All in all a very enjoyable week of WWE.

What's up with the diet and workout plan from some of these WWE-Superstars. Cena, Barett, Neville and Co look like Marvel Superheros. Wade Barett has to be in the best shape of his life. Dude is rocking an 8 pack.

Neville went through a subtle name change after being the face of NXT for a long time, including mentions and appearances on WWE's TV stations. It doesn't have to be a major change. Kevin Steen went to Kevin Owens. Brian Danielson became Daniel Bryan. Kenta debuted as Kenta and immediately changed his name to Hideo Itami. Names are fluid on the universe. Hell, most everybody forgets that The Berserker was known as The Viking for weeks on end before changing it from one week to the next.

I read one scenario where Joe could come in as a relative of the USo. Basically, Joe Uso. Which sounds cliche and silly on the surface, but makes A TON of sense for all involved, really. And over time, you can transition from Joe Uso to Joe or whatever.

With that said, Samoa Joe is probably their best bet if he ever jumps to the main roster, in my opinion.

Yeah I doubt that's going to happen. Kurt was begging to go back but the WWE just doesn't want the risk. It's a shame because he definitely wasted what 8 or 9 years in TNA but he probably would have gotten fired a few times if he never left due to the Wellness Policy.

I actually don't think it is a bad idea, and to clarify this was a fantasy booking scenario, not any rumor tied to the WWE. But if they are looking for a way to introduce him to the main roster, cash in on his name AND have a WWE trademarked name, there are worse ways to do it. Have one of the Usos (the injured one) get attacked viciously after he comes back by let's say, New Day. The healthy one is being held down by Big E while the other two are just going to town. All of a sudden, Joe's theme hits, and he casually walks down to ringside, New Day is stunned and looking on.

Joe tosses Kofi and Xavier and turns around is face to face with Big E. Big E tries to throw a punch, Joe blocks and fires off a bunch before clotheslining him out of the ring. You now can have him team with the other Uso for a bit until the twins are both healthy, then break him out on his own. Or start a loose faction, where they team up occasionally and look out for "family" but aren't always together. Joe Uso isn't the worst fate to happen to Samoa Joe if it came about.

Or put face paint on him, make him grow dreads and call him Two-maga. That works for me, as well.
