I thought that PPV was fine, again I wasn't expecting much but liked the tag title match and the Ambrose/Harper brawl the best. I'll be honest I zoned out during the Big Show/Reigns match and actually fell asleep during the boring cage main event match, although I've never been a fan of regular cage matches in the first place but eliminating the RKO hurt some of the drama.

I'm interested in the KOTR coming back tonight and tomorrow with the semis and finals on The Network, it's things like this that the Network should absolutely do every once and awhile. Wonder who's in it but my money is on Cena or Reigns because obviously.

Yeah Reigns/Show was a great match. Lots of fun, big spots, that's whats needed in an Extreme Rules PPV. Don't want it every match, and it's tough for Roman to work with a 43 year old slow Giant. But he did well.

The tag match was legit! Holy cow is Tyson and Cesaro over. That swing into a drop kick is brutal, and I love Cesaros strength and physicality.

Also congrats to Neville for going over the #1 IC contender (thats another story)....hopefully this means they push Neville into the title race, so it doesn't make BnB look as bad. Hell let them battle for the interim title while Bryans out, creates a great storyline when (if) Bryan returns.

See a match like what Neville and BNB had it doesn't really matter that BNB lost because the match was so good and made both guys look legit in it. There was no silly interference or fluke distraction pin that doesn't do anything for either guy. It was two wrestlers wrestling a good match.

Crazy stat I just read but last night was Dean Ambrose's first PPV win in a singles match since 9/15/13 when he beat Dolph Ziggler to retain the US title. Obviously he was part of The Shield so he was in a lot of tag team matches during that time but still. His last PPV win was as part of The Shield against Evolution at Payback on 6/1/14.

I still try and catch the PPVs. I enjoyed Mania. I watched Extreme Rules after Game of Thrones last night and finished it up this morning. I thought that the Tag Team and Reigns/Show matches were both pretty good. I think, especially in the case of Reigns/Show, lowered expectations helped. Xavier Woods had the line of the night with "Why are you booing? We're winning!" I was disappointed we didn't get an ongoing saga of Harper/Ambrose fighting (literally) in the streets of Chicago. That would have been cool if it had been done over the course of multiple segments. A lot of different ways they could have improved on it. I liked the Sheamus/Dolph match but the stipulation was dumb and the shenanegans after the match were over went on too long. Also wasn't a huge fan of Rollins/Orton or Cena/Rusev. Both finished in just about the most predictable way possible.

Agreed, he's the only one it would make sense to win it. No one else would really benefit from it but him. The brackets are interesting though. Shocked that Reigns isn't a part of it though.

I have to question putting Reigns in the Triple Threat title match at Payback if he's not going to win the title. I would think they would keep him away from the belt until he's going to win it so the narrative isn't that he can't win the big match ala Lex Luger.

I also don't get Cena/Rusev 4 at Payback, Cena shouldn't be dropping the US title anytime soon so the belt can continue to be built up and Rusev (much like Bray Wyatt last year) shouldn't be losing to Cena at each PPV. Both guys should start fresh feuds.

Saw the KOTR, pretty good idea just wish it was longer, it really should have been a stand alone PPV because who doesn't love tournaments. But again this is stuff that the WWE absolutely should be doing with the Network. Really wish they would air live house shows from time to time too like they did back in the day when the WWE was at MSG.

Not that this means anything but Daniel Bryan has been pulled from all live event advertising until June 28th which is a house show in PA.

So Vince is pretty high on Lana and wants to turn her face and have her be the face of the Divas. He wants to split her from Rusev and reveal that she is really American. There is also talk to change her name to C.J. because Vince feels because she's blonde people will see the name and associate her with Pamela Anderson's character C.J. Parker from Baywatch.

That's pretty much all you need to know about Vince right there thinking people will remember a TV show that hasn't been on the air for 15 years. And the core fan base that they target weren't even born when the show was super popular.

Vi---------Vince needs to be sedated. He's.....senile. I mean he has Jerry Springer hosting a "too hot for tv" show on the network, and wants to turn Lana to Pamela Anderson.

What year does he think this is?

Hey to be fair, Vince has always been behind with the times and usually 10 years too late with pop culture stuff so I don't think it automatically means he's senile. It does go to show you just how out of touch the company is though. What's next WWE themed pogs?

I hope Ambrose wasn't added to the main event just to eat the pin. Again, I do question putting either Reigns and Ambrose in the match if they're not winning and keeping all of The Shield members away from each other for as long as possible is ideal. I think the WWE could have easily ran another Orton/Rollins WWE title match at Payback.

The Sami Zayn debut was pretty cool, minus him hurting himself. I was expecting Owens to do a run in, especially in Montreal so that was a tiny let down.

Does anyone know if Zayns injury is serious or just something minor? He was pretty heavily taped during Pat Pattersons appreciation night after Raw.

If you watch when Zayn runs down the ramp, as he jumps onto the stairs leading to the ring, he fist pumps and IMMEDIATELY grabs for his left shoulder, then adjusts it a bunch, and even stretches it out. After a side suplex from Cena, you can see Zayn yell in pain, Cena as the ****in pro he is, stands up, tells the ref to "check him!" then the ref immediately does the "X" sign.

    It's hurt bad.

And a gif of the injury happening. Def serious. Kids a badass for having a great match throughout the injury!

Yeah Zayn hurt his shoulder during his entrance, it popped out of the socket and the trainers put it back in but he was scheduled to get a MRI on it yesterday but as of now no word on how serious it is. It's the same shoulder that's been bothering him for awhile.

Well RAW's rating this past Monday was the lowest viewing audience for a non-holiday or NFL season since 1997 getting 3.57 viewers. Many are chalking it up to the NBA and NHL playoffs but RAW's ratings haven't been during well since the RAW after WM.

Wonder if the office is starting to place the blame on Rollins as champion yet. I can just picture Vince saying "Dammit, should have put the title on Reigns and gave the fans what they wanted".

Yup I'd love to be trapped in a room with him for a couple of hours and just ask him a boat load of questions. Aside from the Stone Cold Podcast on the WWE Network he rarely does interviews without being in character. Most of what we really know about him as a person is from 2nd hand stories. But you're right he truly is one of a kind.

Zayn has some sort of rotator cuff injury, rumor is he may have tore it which he would be out of action for a few months. He was originally written into the Smackdown tapings but due to the injury he was taken out of the show. Sucks.

So...I have a bit of news.

I am booked for Memorial Day weekend to Stand-Up Comedy at this upscale restaurant/bar, which isn't news other than I enjoy doing comedy. What IS news is who will be at the show Saturday Night.

None other than Mr. Monday Night, The Whole F'n Show, Rob. Van. Dam.

I am officially a dumb mark right now.

So this is a bit of interesting news, apparently the WWE is currently working on an Owen Harr DVD/Blu ray and have gotten permission and the ok from Martha Hart. There is speculation that Owen going into the HOF might be next.

Obviously there are still tons of hard feelings from Martha Hart's side but I'm happy she is finally giving the ok for the WWE to give Owen's legacy a proper look for the fans. Also today would have been Owen's 50th birthday.

EDIT: Apparently Martha is not in support of this DVD project.

Daniel Bryan is set to return tonight on RAW. No word yet if he's going to wrestle or just do an interview but I'm sure we'll get an update on what's going on with the IC title situation.

EDIT: Apparently he's set to return to the ring and will be defending the IC title on the PPV.

He's in serious need of a repackaging. I don't get his moveset or character, or how he is supposed to be a "hacker." He looks like a badly tanned, smaller version of Taz out there.

Fantastic news! Will be watching live tonight.

Yeah, I'd love for him to be repackaged as a Raven type, against the establishment, doesnt run with any crew. His mic skills were on point with Moxley (ambrose) back in the day.

I don't understand why the WWE, as of right now anyway, isn't promoting the hell out of Bryan returning with a special announcement. RAW ratings have been down big time, you'd think this would help get a bump. Don't get why this has to be a surprise.

Because Vince would rather take on the NBA playoffs with Cena or Orton starting the show, proving they have the balls to match, only to fall on bad ratings again, so he can then in turn blame on Bryan not being a big enough draw to surprise people to change the channel.
