Don't eff with Gary, he's got a sweet moonlighting gig for a midnight roller derby team... The Daytona duckbill platy*******. That's one costume, two mascots. Keeps him off meth is all I'm saying...
I think the NFL offseason is quite probably a massive influence for wasted man hours. All those mock drafts, rumours, player analyses, guess work, and in the end the teams will pick who they pick and the players will play how they'll play...and yet...here I am. Heck, at least mascot change might be something we could influence! Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing the mascots removed. In many ways they're just outdated. Maybe teams needs to come up with some sort of virtual, AI, mascot, maybe something holographic and maybe interactive with electronic devices. Sort of a non-creepy, Miami Dolphins lawnmower man, or woman. Cortana anybody? Or maybe a pod of holographic dolphins to stir the crowd, put on a show, and make fun of the opponents?
On a more serous note. Are they planning on keeping Caleb Sturgis? On close games this guy gives me a quizy stomach.
Seriously... Go to 1:10:
I hate Caleb Sturgis. I hope we draft a kicker in like the 5th round. Here's some guys to look at grabbing a kicker in the later rounds http://walterfootball.com/draft2015K.php Justin Manton is the only one that sticks out to me. That's why we gotta spend a 5th on him and give Sturgis the boot. And TD is just fine. Nobody is looking at the mascot anyway they're looking at the cheerleaders in between breaks.
It's there an NFL rule that says teams have to have one? It just feels like it's a default option when there have to be better, more creating options if someone will only get a bit more creative.
I'm trying to figure out why the most crazed dolphin fans and crew dress like the insane clown posse..
