http://ps4daily.com/2014/11/gta-5-first-person-mode/ Surprised me but looks awesome. Also saw that both systems will be 1080p @ 30 fps here. http://www.gamespot.com/articles/gta-5-is-1080p-30fps-on-ps4-and-xbox-one-first-per/1100-6423369/ *unzip* Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
PC version gets 4K support. Holy crap, Rockstar! Normally they just put in the bare minimum effort on the PC versions (like the fact that it's coming over a year later than the PS360 releases, and 2 months after the PS4one releases), but this is an amazing addition. Now I need a 4K monitor.
I'll have to... I just spent a **** ton building out an HTPC with XBMC and Plex though haha My wife may kick me.
You might have problems fitting a GTX 900 series GPU into an HTPC… unless you used a bigger case. Hope you have a strong CPU too. Unless you have a dedicated PC for this stuff.
Yeah itll fit... and I probably wont have any issues with streaming and playing a game at the same time... but I have it set up hooked up to the projection screen, which isn't 4k so it would be a waste to use it on that or go through the pain of unplugging it and moving it to a different room every time. Anyways, sorry to disregard the topic. P.S. Why no Call of Duty thread yet? haha
Discussing ways to play GTA 5 is perfectly legitimate in this thread, IMO. I may need to upgrade from my GTX 780 to play GTA 5 on ultra… Someone should start one up. I'll sticky a competitive/matchmaking thread, but it needs to be created first. I'm not making every single thread on this forum.
I have a GTX 770 Classified with 3 GB DDR. I am thinking about getting it in SLI. Does SLI still offer marginal performance increase?
Not interested in the first person view, but I do like the improved graphics and added content, so I may pick this up for the PS4 next year at some point when it gets cheaper, since I never finished the game on the PS3.
LOL I believe it - reminds me of Unreal Tournament 2004. Anyways, I pre ordered it and am actually looking forward to it actually.
Unless Hillary Clinton deleted part of it. That is pretty good. I upgraded my internet and get 2.5 to 3.1 Mbs/s so it should take me approx. 7 hours or so. I haven't started it yet.
So, I won't be home until at least 1:00 am tonight/tomorrow and will definitely have a few drinks in me, so I'm not sure I'll be able to give it a go until tomorrow evening. SMH. EDIT: Change of plans, I made it. Plus one for the good guys.
New to GTAV online. Is it just me or is there nobody around? Am I suppossed to walk around and do activities? I imagined there would be more people around to shoot. I'm on rockstar servers fwiw.
Not sure dude. Put about 45 mins into it last night. I did the mandatory prologue and messed around with the character creation a bit but didn't finalize my character at all, so I haven't jumped online. I know you can pick up missions online from "contacts" and the more missions you do the more contacts you get. Not sure if you have to make those contacts in single player to have them available in MP. TBH I feel a little overwhelmed at the moment until I play a bit more to understand the dynamics of the game.
I played the first 30 minutes. The game seems really well optimized so far. I'll turn the settings up a little bit, but it should be relatively good looking for a few years based on the settings I've seen. I'm very ready for GTA: Vice City though.
Vice City was my favorite GTA. Is a new one coming back or are you just wishing/speculating? I had no FPS issues either, although Shadowplay didn't seem to work with GTA V so I didn't have an exact frame count. Felt very smooth. I'll obviously try going through the settings in more depth tonight.
I had a late night updated that popped up for Nvidia specifically for GTA V. Might contain your updated.
SP never worked properly for me to begin with. Whenever I tried to used to, my game would freeze up and I would get graphic interference on websites like the type you get when your gpu overheats.
I really like SP. It works great for me. Too bad you can't say the same. Maybe update GeForce Experience? Anyone finding GTA Online a little dry? I'm trying to grind coop missions but there are only 5 of them or something. I'm lvl 12 but my buddy isn't yet so we cant do heists, and the PVP missions are ok but I'm not really doing any of them at the moment. What's best way to level up aside from PVP?
