Not surprising he'd visit. He's got more in the tank than most think. But he's more of a slot/rotating guy.
Would actually be a really good fit in Miami now. “@Vikings: The #Vikings have released WR Greg Jennings”
Jennings can rotate as the #2 and slot and be perfectly effective. Really surprised the Vikings released him.

    Armando Salguero:
"Jennings is interesting to the Dolphins because head coach Joe Philbin is familiar with him from their time together with the Green Bay Packers.
The Dolphins want to add a veteran wide receiver presence to a room that has seen the trading of Mike Wallace, and the cutting of Brandon Gibson and Brian Hartline this offseason.
The role for that vet is unclear, however, because it's possible the Dolphins will draft a wide receiver in the first round. So that veteran may be the team's fourth receiver behind the rookie first-round pick, Jarvis Landry and Kenny Stills ...
... Or the veteran may be more of a priority if the team fails to land a receiver it wants in the early round.
Landing Jennings -- or veteran Michael Crabtree, who also visited the Dolphins and turned down a contract offer -- would not preclude the Dolphins from drafting a receiver.
Jennings has drawn interest from Carolina, Oakland and Jacksonville after being cut by the Minnesota Vikings. Ironically, Jennings was cut because Minnesota wanted to make room for Wallace, whom they got from the Dolphins.
Jennings, 31, caught 59 passes for 742 yards and six touchdowns in 2014 for the Vikings.
Jennings is a three-time 1,000-yard receiver in the NFL, all of those coming with the Green Bay Packers, the last coming in 2010."

I would prefer Jennings over Crabtree. I believe Jennings would be a better influence to the WR's and QB.

Jennings has a work ethic the young guys will emulate. Do it.

Bring him in. Get a vet in the locker room. Sure-thing guy Tannehill can lean on.

I favor Jennings over Crabtree as well. Still, I want one of the top 3 WR in round one either way.

Plan B suddenly becoming Plan A. He would provide veteran leadership that this young group of WRs need.

If signed it probably means we will be unlikely to sign a WR with our first pick unless through a tradedown IMO.

Doubt it'd change where we'd take a WR. Jennings doesn't have much left aside from veteran experience.

I was down with it two years ago and still am...scheme fit..smart..I don't think his body would lose that much, would have to see in preseason to see how much.

I would love to add him. Unlike Michael Crabtree, his 2014 tape was actually somewhat compelling.

I would be in favor of adding him.

In hindsight though, guess we should have added him originally instead of Wallace

Always good when we can add someone's #1 WR as our #3 WR.

Greg Jennings was Minnesota's #1 receiver in 2014.

Kenny Stills was New Orleans #1 receiver in 2014.

In that time period, it would end up being Greg Jennings that would catch the deep ball in stride, and take it all the way.

I mean, 2 years ago, who knew that it would be Greg Jennings - not Mike Wallace - that would be turning on the afterburners, and making a 70 yd touchdown catch & run..

Never really followed Jennings' career. Just checked out his highlights from '14. Just from the little I saw, he has exceptional awareness, body control, and hands. Got really open on some plays, like stupid open.

Do not know his age, injury hx, etc.; but he looks as if he'd be a solid contributor in this offense. Bring in the guy. Nothing like an older player showing the young guys a trick or two. It benefits both sides. Older player trying to show he still has it. Younger guys trying to prove they do have it. Win win.

People act as if Jennings is ancient. He's 31. Receivers can play until almost 40. Who knows? Jennings could be here 3-5 years. Plenty of life left in those legs.

Love the guy's game. 31 doesn't scare me either...bring him on. Looks like (unless the Raiders offer him a trainload) he won't be signing until draft time or after.
