Haven't the rumors been that Parcells would be the GM? If the team goes 0-16 Cameron has to go. Though I think Mueller has to be the 1st guy to go. It's always easier for fans to fire one or two front office or coaching guys than the 53 guys on the roster.

What has Bill Cowher done that would warrant firing Cam to get him? He has won 1 SB and been to 2 in how many years? This retread thing also works for coaches as it works for players...

Name 1 head coach that won a superbowl and has done the same with different team!

And you still want to play for C2C???:wink2: Parcells is just another retread. Has he won a superbowl with more that one team? Granted he is a hell of a coach but just like the players on the team, we need to get young... That is the only way you build a dynasty...

Since Chan was let go from GT why not bring him back to help coach the offence. It seems to me Cam can't handle being the head coach and the offensive coach at the same time.

    No thank you

Either Shea or Green Should be OC. Shea would most likely slide to OC after a year in Cam's offense and Green to QB Coach.

I'm the farthest thing from a Parcells fan.....but he deserves more credit than you are giving him. He built the Giants from nothing. 2 Championships. Took over a dormant Patriots franchise and got them to a Super Bowl and acquired most of the talent that would take them to 3 titles. took over a miserable Jets franchise, and forged a reoster which can compete and win playoff games. Now look what Dallas is after he took over that floundering team.

so while he may have not achieved coaching greatness in his post-Giants career, he does know how to put together a team.

    I can't believe I just defended Parcells...I feel dirty.

Oh and by the way, seems the Pats have built themselves a dynasty with a 'retread' coach. so young isn't the only way.

Great post bro! I feel the same way that you do. Many naysayers are looking to be a winning team out of the gate. That just isn't going to happen no matter who the HC is!!! One of the biggest reasons that we are in this hole is due to quick fixes and who is going to be the saviour. Too many changes with too many vets, coaches and styles. What this team needs most right now is some stability in the key roles. CAM and RANDY produced the most effective draft in almost a decade. 4 rookies starting at this point in time and being productive. Ronnie and Jessie were both turning in 100 yard games. Hell, Ronnie was on pace to win the rushing title this year, as well as total yards for an RB this year!!! You can't do that unless the OL is doing their job.

No one foreseen the collapse on defense this year. We lost a couple of key players in Carter and Bowens. And whether anyone wants to admit it or not, the loss of SABAN was big as well. Then the injuries started piling up. However, the defense has really made improvements over the past few weeks from what it was in the beginning of the season.

Now I will support a move at DC as I think Capers has lost his game. That is evident by the departure of Saban and the collapse of the defense. He got away from JT as a jack and has made the D too vanilla. IF there is any changes to the coaching staff, he should be the first to go...

Can't really blame the last 4 losses on the defense.

I agree... I even mentioned that they have really improved over the past few weeks. But I will stand by my statement that I think Capers has lost his edge. The improvement on the defense, I feel, has been the vets training the youths. I will consider that Capers has toned down the D and simplified it for the rookies, but when you look at the big picture, we lost 2 players in Bowens and Carter. How does that transfer into a total collapse of a 4th ranked defense from the previous year... They were good players, don't get me wrong, but a total collapse???

Personally, I think a large part of the team was lost early by the circus atmosphere in mini-camps. When the leader of the defense comes out at the awards dinner and supports the QB that gets kicked to the curb, you have to wonder how that affected the psyche of the defense.

Cam and Mueller have started the rebuild, let them finish it. They're the first two with the GUTS to do what was needed. Saban should have started it and was worried about conitinuing his winning season record - help him, hurt the dolphins.

The defense is coming around with the younger players. The offense needed a complete rebuild, so it will come along slower - however, the road looks promising. We need a TE and WRs that catch the ball on the offensive side. We need everything on defense - either in primary or backup mode.

The Special Teams and WR coach needs replaced. Cam needs to hire an OC.
