Browns are having a tremendous draft...solve franchise QB issue then shore up his protection rd 2. Nice work
How did everyone screw up the 2012 Tackle class so badly? Joeckel and Fisher were supposed to be studs. Lane Johnson and Pugh turned out to be better lol. Still baffles me to this day how they got talked up so much and fell that hard on their faces.
and then there's Van, nowhere to be found... isn't he supposed to be the one working at night? as in... isn't he around at night? .... in the meantime, I'll entertain offers on trading down just for the fun of it. I've got three guys on my list... one is a sure fire first round player on all mock boards that I've seen... the second guy, I like a lot, I might be able to trade back and still get him... maybe but it's risky... the last guy... ooooh now, there's the wildcard pick. Fell in love with him a while ago. He's a 2nd round pick for sure and the way this position is picked, he won't last long. Slight reach here, but I might just have to do it... three guys.. two of them will be there once the Cowboys pick...
he does that from time to time. Its good therapy though...you always get the answers you want to hear that way
It makes perfect sense. The reason we never agree is because we are a lot alike with regards to trades. Very competitive and feel the need to win deals. Or at least feel like we won deals. You're just not perceptive in picking up what I was saying
well.... here I go again talking to myself... gonna go sleep... wake up in the morning, check the inbox to see if anyone has agreed to my trade proposals, if no, check to see if Dallas has made their pick... if yes, I'll pick my guy... if no, I won't be around to make my pick until lunch time tomorrow about 2 hours before my pick is due... If Dallas still hasn't made his pick, I'll send a bulletin at that point.
all I know is I traded the old Dolphins corner Will Allen to you which I believe was the only trade we ever made.. it took all offseason... I think I got a 4th round pick? I won that trade.
Grrrr. Shoulda put the phone on airplane mode. Guess what I'm not picking right now anyways. All 4 of my targets are still on the board so I'm trading down. Send me offers in the next 10 minutes if your that impatient or send me an offer with the condition that I can post it if I like it and I'll post it when I get up at 6:30am EST.
Typically for me I feel like it's enough if I just get the player I covet. That's my own personal win. I don't need to feel like I have to win the value aspect too for a trade to go down.
Ok quick traded to Phinish. He's got all morning to finish it. If for some reason he's occupied and hasn't finished the trade I'll revoke and pick so we can keep this moving (and I don't risk a skip)
If we start to get way ahead, could we adjust the draft schedule? Or would that be too complicated? It would be nice to start flying through this thing.
It would depend on how far ahead we get. It would honestly have to be 2-3 days ahead before I adjust anything.
if people are flying by with their picks and notify the GM picking after them then you wouldn't really need to adjust the schedule, well as long as no GM uses like a full 16, 24, 48 hours to try and force a trade for their pick.
Maybe, but once you get a few days ahead, why not just adjust it to make sure no one does take a full 16, 24, 48 hours?
because maybe I'll want a trade well yeah by that point it'd probably be best, but you know this league momentum builds...then just a dead stop.
At school. Going to make my pick once I get home and get a chance to do a bit more research. Hit my up with trade offers until then.
I almost took him at 35. He was one of the three I had in my mind earlier... the other hasn't been taken yet. Just felt another WR was a luxury. There's only so many balls to go around, right?
