Here is the depth Chart http://www.ourlads.com/nfldepthcharts/depthchart/MIA Here is the cap http://overthecap.com/salary-cap/miami-dolphins I like the depth chart because it allows a quick visual with depth on what we really need I see Guard x's 2 maybe even 3 if we cut Dallas Thomas QB don't know this guy and would rather have more confidence in a backup Wr x's 3 TE x's 2 DT to back up Suh LB to back up for McCain
Wait...You want 3 more receivers and two more tight ends?? I'll give you we need one more receiver...but three? And I think many of these players that we need are for depth...And when you start getting into your depth on the oline or defense, you're in trouble...see last year for the perfect example. You can't simply carry starter quality backups as depth AND have very good/elite players as starters. It seems to me that there is alot of handwringing going on over players who should never, ever see the field.
If Phillip Wheeler was cut as a post-June cut, he would still show in the cap until then, right? Could explain why he is still there.
I'm with you. Ideally we add 7-9 guys on our roster from the depth. If you can get 2-3 starters and another 2-3 contributors, you have a pretty good draft. Looking at last years draft, it was pretty good by our standards. We got 2 starters, potentially 3 if Turner develops, and 2-3 contributors(Aikens, Tripp, Fede). If we can find a couple of free agents along with our draft and address remaining positions of need(G, MLB, FS, CB, WR) I think were are in good shape.
Backup QB will likely be solved via post draft cuts as some veterans are released due to a team picking up a rookie. Believe it or not there are some quarterbacks outside of Mariota and Winston. Bryce Petty for instance. Someone will draft these guys and when they do some veteran will get the axe. That's when we can also flesh out the position as well.
You can do whatever you want to make this about what I want and ignore what is staring you in your face. But i am telling you if Dallas Thomas and Billy Turner as our starting guards we are 3-13
Find me where I've said we don't need another player on our oline? I'm just sick of all the nay-saying constantly on here. We win a gamee, people ***** that Tannehill only had 3tds. We have a great start to offseason, and we can't even enjoy it, cause people got to act like it's all over, and we picked up no one else, and the draft passed, and we drafted no one, and we're going into the season with a terrible lineup. Get a grip. There are professionals in place, clearly with a plan that they are working on. Enjoy it. If the season tanks, then complain.
Dude really. What is your ****ing problem?? If you don't want to partake, have nothing to add but insults then keep your insults to yourself and post in another thread.
Hopefully he can fill that linebacker spot they been grooming him for. Still not sure though they have him listed as a defensive end. Be nice with his athletic ability that he he could play both as needed. That's a lot to ask from a guy though, especially at this level
have we gotten rid of him. Don't think I've seen anything about him. Seems like last I heard he was going to visit buffalo
Always Liked Moore and what he brought to the table in terms of being able to win if Tannehill went down. When I saw the depth chart I was like who the hell is that. I still can't remember his name. I am a pretty conservative guy so to me this is one position I would not gamble on. Tannehill goes down it could spell the end of our season. Not so much in any other position on the field. Maybe Farve is available
I think I made it clear what my problem was. I have added, then you attack me, making up stuff about my supposed position on the state of the oline. Frankly, the pessimism of some on here is downright depressing. Think we still have some holes? I agree. Just please stop acting like we cut world-beaters and replaced them with terrible players. Of course we have holes. Every team does. Not every player every position is going to be good. If you don't like my comments, or they upset you, feel free to block me.
