Yes they are good but showing again a very selfish and unsportsmanlike team.

That is the point you are missing in this article. Favre, Marino, Montana, Manning etc would never be in for personal gain but this team is all about the 'Wrong Attitude.'

My beef with this isnt that they are trying to break the records but the fact that they act smugand then lie about trying to break the record together.... They probably could have broken the Records during the game if they werent trying to make it so obvious.... Then after the game they act like they say they dont care after making so blatantly obvious... Just be honest and say yea were trying to destroy the records and I'd be like cool that's gangsta, it's all in the way they are doing it... I honestly dont think Farve is meaning to break the records he just is he loves the game and you can see it.... These guys have a smug we think were better than you attitude that is the main reason why ppl hate he Pats it's the players and their smug coach....

They aren't selfish. If you don't like them scoring points then stop them. After all isn't that defense's job. They are an awesome team and I hate it as much as anyone that are the Patriots. When you take your foot of the gas pedal that's when you let teams back in the game.

Yes they are. It's why they run up scores, it's why their starters are still playing full games when most teams would have them sitting in the second half. Bellicheat is scum and he deserves a key injury just in time for the playoffs. Too bad it probably won't happen. There's no reason to ever run up the score in the NFL. This isn't college. A great example is the first NE-Miami game, the Pats have run up the score early on the hapless fins, fine. Then in the 2nd half Bellicheat puts in the backup QB, backup QB throws a pick six. Now Bellicheat is only up by 3 scores against a clearly inferior team with a quarter and a half to go so he puts his starter back in to run up the score some more. I'm not saying he should be playing Wanny ball but when you're up by three scores against the worst team in the league there's no reason to play your starters in the 4th quarter. None. And when it's the 2nd to last game of the season, you're locked into the 1st spot in the playoffs and up by four scores to start the second half there's no reason at all to play the starters. He wants the perfect season, he wants people to say he's better than Shula. That's all he cares about.

Cry me a river. Like I said "stop them". They still got to win 4 more games they'll be playing teams like indy, jax, and sd. They haven't won nothing yet.

I have no problem with it, if you can get the record, go for it.

I hate the Pats but the Defense should stop them.... It was gangsta when Brady straight up said "we arent trying to beat teams where trying to kill them... We dont want to give them hope" Then someone said said "It's disrespectful when other teams go to pick up there checks from playing an awful game" when he was asked about them runnin up the score... I respected them straight up saying it rather than hiding things.... If Dolphins didnt want it happening they should learn to play.... Or hurt Tom Brady... That's what pissess me off if he's doin this to you blitz all 11 guys hell get the sidelines to attack him what do you have to loose... That's whats disgusting no one is trying to hurt him....

    probably not.

but if the fins did it, you could definitely expect retalliation twice a year

not to mention, the player who did it would be gone for the season. prob never make it back into the nfl.

and the team that did it would have a serious black-eye.

intentionally injuring someone, especially a QB is the most heinus thiing you can do in the sport

They're not good enough to stop them, for various reasons. So just so I have it right according to you this means they deserve to be humiliated? I wasn't aware that that's what sportsmanship was all about.

Remember the Monday Night Meltdown against the Jets. They are assuring that doesn't happen. If you keep scoring the other team can't win. If we were doing the same thing you wouldn't have a problem with it. What about all these super bowl outs by the NFC before Denver broke the AFC curse. I guess the entire NFC were poor sports. The object of the game is to score. I hate the Pats but they are not doing anything wrong. No opposing coaches or players are saying that. Only cry baby fans.

The thing that bothers me more than anything is the fact that sometimes it seems I want them to beat whoever they are playing more than some of the players. I am probably on an island by myself here, and it may have been discussed before, but the dolphins could have made that more of a game. I can, and have, lived with our players making mistakes, or just not having enough talent to win a game.
The one thing that gets me more than anything though is that 4th down, and goal that Cleo ran out of bounds on. I maybe wrong but, I am done with him forever-NO HEART, I can live with his in-accuracy, and bonehead mistakes, but that was too much.
