Should Tannenbaum be the public face of the team?

As for Tannenbaum being the face of the franchise, I'm with it. Why not?

 

Well then why didnt he draft Flacco and/or Wilson then? There is no way a GM gets a free pass because there is no Andrew Luck waiting for him when its time to turn in his draft card. If that were the case, you could say Ireland and Spielman were good GMs too....if they only had a great QB fall to them they would have been great GMs. But we know they weren't good GMs. And it wasn't because an elite QB didn't fall to them in the draft.

Should Mike have farted a better QB into existence? There were two QBs that were better in 6 years. 30 teams missed them. He gambled a couple of times. He hedged his bets by bringing in Favre. This was not the catastrophe you're making it out to be.

QBs are crapshoots. You have to be lucky to get the right one. What is impressive is that he built a team that could get to the AFCCG two years in a row with Sanchez as QB and Rex Ryan letting the patients run the asylum.

 

Seems like Tannenbaum needs to take over the media. And it does sound like he is comfortable than the coach! In front of the press.

 

Plus the fact is people learn and evolve and become better , or can. We need some consistency in regards to direction and leadership and better decisions on acquiring assets .... and better coaching.

Not dismissing him for his tenure with the Jets.

 

He was always good when he went on sports talk radio in NY. Personally, I've always liked Mr. T.

 

He is much better than Ross, Philbin and Hickey at working the mic.
