He does have turnover problems but I still think he will be a star in this league. Of course you do lol.
lol, well, I did take the Westbrook comment about being a better offensive player than he was at UCLA a small knock on the program. But it's kinda true though. Howland really focuses on D more than offense (I've heard 60-70% of practices focus on D but I end up mostly on the women's scout team so I wouldn't know as much) and it's why you see guys like Jordan Farmar suddenly look better offensively than they did here. Before last year, you wouldn't even suspect Farmar could hit the 3. As for Mayo, I wasn't impressed by him the way I was impressed by say Kevin Durant. I think he may be a solid starter but I think it's questionable whether he can be a star.
Lol, alright. You have had a better look of them so I'll take your word for it. Btw, I'm a huge fan of Westbrook so I love hearing positive news about him. I'll agree to disagree with you on that topic.
I used to LOVE their team but ever since that palace brawl, they have been going downhill. (Damn you Artest ) and now they traded JO who I love to watch. To replace JO they got Roy Hibbert, who I HATE watching play. I really hope they can get a team together.
yup enjoy jarrett jack....he is a decent combo guard, but waaaaaaaaaaay to turnover prone...diogu is nice too when he plays...i'll give that trade an A++++++++++++++ for the blazers

NBA Tidbits Houston's Landry Considering Europe Houston Rocket's Carl Landry is considering all of his options, including playing overseas. Landry's agent states that there is serious interest from teams in the NBA and in Europe. Landry is a restricted free agent. In this case, Okafor would receive a pay raise and wouldn't be able to be dealt to a team in the next six months. If a team was to trade for Okafor, they would have to take on his full salary and send back players who make approximately half of what Okafor makes. (Link) Jannero Pargo Looking For Three-Year Deal Hornets guard Jannero Pargo is looking for a three year deal and has drawn interest from several teams. (Link) The Reason Why Childress Left The NBA The reason why former Hawk Josh Childress left for the Olympiakos is rather simple; its because of money. The Olympiakos was offering twice as much as the Hawks and a home for Childress. The Olympiakos will be paying Childress $6.7 million a year compared to Atlanta's offer of $3.4 million a year. The Olympiakos will also be paying for all of Childress' living expenses that includes luxury accommodations, a car, a driver and maid service. One other thing in the contract that made Childress come over is that he can opt out any year he likes. (Link)
Wow with a deal like Josh Childress got I would not be suprised if more did not jump. I mean that's a great deal
Yeah, I think we have had a total of six players to go overseas this off-season. Garbajosa, formerly of the Raptors, is being offered ten million a year to go overseas.
Friday Headlines Warriors Re-Sign Guard Ellis The Warriors have re-signed guard Monta Ellis to a six year deal worth $66 million. Ellis was rumored to have interest in the Heat and Knicks this off-season but this deal squashes that...for now. Ellis averaged 20 points per game last year and won NBA's Most Improved Player. He officially made his comeback last season with the Hornets, playing five games. (Link) For Bucks, there are signs of life
Well if the dollar keeps tanking we will see more guys go overseas. I'm not sure what the Euro to Dollar conversion is right now but its very lopsided, the teams over there are going to be able to steal more and more players as the dollar gets weaker.
I look at it this way...until a larger named player gets signed over seas. This isn't really that big of a deal. If I was a 6th or poss. 7th man on a team and they offered me something like this, I would jump all over it as well. Until someone like CP3 signs, this wont impact the NBA.
It already has affected the NBA. A superstar does not have to worry about money so there is no incentive however role players are very important to a teams success. While we may never see a huge star leave some good mid level guys might go
Yeh but there are 100s of players waiting to take there places already playing over seas, or for the CBA..
Man I'm not really believing that Sasha is actually going to go to Europe. Seems like his agent is just creating artificial competition considering he really hasn't gotten higher offers from other NBA teams.
Yeah there will always be people there to take there place, But that does not make them as good as the previous player
Just like there are people that can replace me and you for C2C, but we both know they wont be even a fraction the men we are.

sooooo Artest is going to be back in Detroit, I hear he's popular with the fans in the stands there....

http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=txoklahomacitynickname&prov=st&type=lgns Well, I guess wind is a good name for the team. It's the only thing their shots make.
I like the name Barons, but then they would have to get Earl Barron and Baron Davis on the team, or it just wouldn't feel right.
