Beason. Hes at least been healthy in the past. Broncos welcome back punter Britton Colquitt at a much more efficient and reasonable salary.
Fwiw I don't think either will stay healthy very long. Which is a shame because I think Bradford could have been a very good QB and Beason was a very good LB at one point.
The Bucs would like to welcome Erik Walden to the team. Walden, a seven year veteran, is both a solid pass rusher and excellent run stopper at the SLB position, and also can play DE. He figures to be a key rotational player at all positions, providing depth, and also an option for starting at the SLB, alongside Brandon Marshall at WLB and Tahir Whitehead at the MLB position.
He played 750 snaps in 2013. Pretty sure that's more then Bradford ever played. And I signed him as a reserve. Bradford is being bid on as a starter...
Welcome home Sam Koch. Other teams didn't want your stud punting skills but we always did...just not at 3.1M. 510K is more like it.
Broncos welcome safety Kenny Phillips. Kenny was out of football last year and knows his spot isn't guaranteed. However he is trying to make a comeback and we know the type of player he is when healthy. U
The Jacksonville Jaguars would like to welcome the very underrated Nickel/slot Corner Coty Sensabaugh.
I did not make this bid. Taylor Gabriel, WR, Giants - $2,850,000 [2/24 11:09AM ET] Don't know if it's supposed to be the Jets or what, but this wasn't me. Maybe it was one of the owners that have Giants avatars?
Someone should create a team full of these Ikeqonjadpsfasodf guys... We can then call them the Raiders.
I actually feel that's counterintuitive. A young player sitting on the bench isn't going to develop as quickly as if he's playing. A vet knows how to prepare for a game/season and will continue to push the young player in front of him. It has the opposite effect as it will preserve him.
The jerk has GIANTS in his name... plus had the Giants for like a number of years... the struggle is real.
Imo depends on the young player. Some legitimately need to sit in order to bulk up or understand the scheme. Yes he may learn faster by playing but at the same time if you're contending for the playoffs that isn't always an option. Also backups do play quite a bit at certain positions and in certain situations.
One of three situations would occur. 1) All laws of physics would be suspended forever and the Earth would go flying off into the sun. 2) Both players would simply explode upon contact. 3) Time would enter a loop, repeating the play from beginning to end for all eternity.
I decided to group all different positions together in FA to create more traffic to remind players of what players are available. It also creates less clutter with 5 threads. Quarterbacks are with Special Teams because they draw the least traffic.
Duron Carter isn't there either. If a player isn't listed and eligible... yes even Jeff George, he'll be placed in the active bid if there is a bid for a player not listed. Fictional characters and deceased will be ignored.
Ravens would like to welcome Randy Starks DT for 3.25M. The former Dolphin says he's anxious to win a championship and go back to a 3-4 defense
I just sent GIK a fail message LOL I thought he updated at 1 PM last and missed something, but he didn't. FAIL. Sorry commish.
It sounds reasonable but also it's a no win situation. The vet who feels he has accomplished something will never be okay sitting behind a young guy who isnt performing. Then if you bench the young guy it not only saps his confidence...but he's on the bench where you didn't want him in the first place.
Jaguars would like to welcome Kendall Langford, DL,. 75 tackles and 6 sacks over the last 2 years. I'll take it.
