All the more reason it sucks that Bosh is out. If McBob had come back with Bosh in the lineup and Wade back, Dragic now at point, jebus. Dragic/Chalmers/Shabazz, Wade/Dragic/Chalmers, Deng/Ennis, Bosh/McRoberts, Whiteside/Anderson is a strong starting lineup and pretty decent rotation too.
The good news is that presuming we re-sign Dragic and Bosh comes back healthy, then we have an ECF team next year, that is perhaps one piece away from competing for a championship. Even now, presuming we get into the playoffs healthy and gelling, I still think we could be competitive. How many other teams have a top 4 as good as Wade/Dragic/Deng and Whiteside?
This ominous hanging cloud is starting to get old. Starting to to feel as if the very moment our starting lineup comes in 100% healthy, a meteor will strike us all dead.
Isaiah Canaan is going to make the Rockets look very stupid, just like Robert Covington did. Giving away all that young talent, yet we keep Jason Terry. Glad he got the hell away from Dwight (a bad influence) and is getting a chance to start.
Heat>Trail Blazers You guys took Sam Bowie over Michael Jordan and Greg Oden over Kevin Durant... I would say its hard being a Trail Blazers fan.
Henry mother****ing Walker.. Another hidden gem found by Riley? That was a nasty dunk, ive seen him do that on a highlight clip of some game he played overseas..
lol...didn't know they had Ish Smith too. They are basically the Rockets' D-league team, Rio Grande Valley Vipers, lol. All they need now are Donatas Motiejunas and Terrence Jones. Covington looks damn good.
I'm sorry. I'm not sure how you look at the way this team is playing and think that Bosh and a role player all of a sudden make them a conference finalist. That's awfully optimistic. On paper that team looks pretty good, but on paper the Heat looked like a top 4 team in the East easily. That hasn't worked out. It's possible that they could challenge for that if everything falls the right way, but having those kinds of expectations is a little crazy IMO.
lol @ Jason Terry. This dude is absolutely worthless. On top of throwing up multiple bricks and getting destroyed by his man every play, he throws a tantrum and gets a tech. Beautiful...just beautiful.
Standing ovation for Pablo Prigioni. He doesn't turn it over and he passes the damn ball. If Jason Terry sees another minute in this game or any other game, McHale should be shot.
Magic on Wednesday and Pelicans again.. Two winnable games if we dont go full ******... Lets get a nice run going before we face the Hawks.
So Jackson steers Knicks in to full tank mode, and then tweets **** talk about the team he is in charge of? Wut?
Harden - 31 points, 11 rebs, 10 assists, 4 blocks, 1 steal Terrence Jones - 15 points, 15 rebs, 2 blocks, 1 steal Fanduel lineup is looking pretty nice tonight.
Never was the same after this:
Dude...you haven't been watching this season? The ACTUAL HEAT played a grand total of 7 games healthy this year. 7 games. NOBODY can have a good season with all these injuries. Yet..here we are...in the 7th seed with a 2 game cushion. Be grateful, we are who we are. This team AS IS...with another good role player, and a shooter is a FINALS contender..next year.
Ya... He's looking like the Cole we saw in his first preseason with us lol oh well, he obviously didnt fit here and I wish him the best at the rest of his career. Note that hes on a contract year tho so hes going to be playing out of his mind to get some team to offer 4-5m per season..
Poor Tyler Johnson. Soon as they traded for Goran Dragic, he was doomed. He's really just not what the Heat need now that they have Dragic. In comes Henry Walker. Swear he looks like a thinner version of Tyreese from The Walking Dead. Exactly what the Heat need now with Goran Dragic running the point. He's basically a less efficient version of Luol Deng except he's still got legs. He shot .431 from three point land with the Knicks in 2009-10, and .386 the next year. He was 52 of 116 from three point land with Skyforce this year. That's what Miami needs. They need a guy they can kick the ball out to on the wing who can either shoot or fake and drive into the lane.
I guess you could argue the Heat could have brought up Andre Dawkins if they wanted a shooter. Maybe they thought they've been there and done that and they wanted to just try a different guy. Or maybe Walker fits better because he's a lot thicker.
They wanted him instead of Andre because Walker can play the #4 a little and can play as the backup #4 in a small ball lineup that Spo loves to play. He is a space player, so Walker is perfect to play with rim attackers like RIO, Wade, and Dragic'.
At least your team nowadays is a threat. You guys got my boy from Texas and Lillard... A pretty good starting five with a nice bench. I fully expect you guys to make a nice post-season push for the finals.
