The Cincinnati Bengals are happy to add FS David Bruton, a valuable and underrated player for the past several years who has been an ace on special teams and nothing other than productive when logging significant snaps at either safety spot. Eventually began playing a majority of games for under-performing DBs late last year and was extremely reliable. Finished with a positive PFF grade each team he played in 40+ snaps. Bruton (27) had 21 tackles, 2 FF and 3 passes defended in final four games of the regular season while also finishing with a PFF grade of 3.7, which was 25th among all safeties (FS or SS). With all that being said, we are sending a league-wide memo that FS Reggie Nelson is officially on the trade block. Uber productive and consistent ball hawk. Grades out as a top S on PFF the last few seasons. We are well aware of Mr. Nelson's value and are only interested in obtain the services of competent starting-level players or other assets (picks). We will put him up on our trade block. Please DM to inquire about Mr. Nelson. We prefer you make the initial proposal or at least send a list of assets you'd be willing to move for a player of Nelson's quality. Thanks! FS Reggie Nelson $4,775,000 (-$625,000)
I could move Lee-Hill to save my life last year and Fin-O gets a second rounder. He's a good player, no idea why no one wanted him last year.
Bryce Petty is white...is that code for Kevin White, or Whiteside cause you're getting your sports mixed up like your selection card come April.
I propose we implement the restructure rule as it has started to occur in the NFL, with the concession that you can not trade a player that has been restructured because it would in effect be a contract extension and a team wouldn't do that unless they plan on keeping the player. Thus a restructure is 1/2 or 1/3 of the current salary but the player can not be cut or traded. Their contract would have to be over $10,000,000 to make it reasonable for a restructure to occur.
I'll say this...a specimen like White and Hunter outside with 90+ catch Kendall Wright in tne slot with Forte behind that OL?? I would really like my offense.
The salary cap in this league is already going to be to roughly 7 mil higher then the real NFL. Restructures just inflates the FA marker even more.
6-7 of you u have inquired about Justin Hunter, I haven't really been interested in trading him as he has great potential and is a physical freak. But due to my recent trade to move up to #2, he is now officially on the block. I'm not going to drag it out, if I get a specific offer I like I'm taking it.
Floating it out there: DM me if you're interested in DE/DT Derek Wolfe. Wolfe, 24, (6-5, 285) is a big 4-3 DE or a prototypical 3-4 DE. Could play inside in a 4-3, although we have our two starters pretty much set. Is not expensive at $1,656,709, something particularly valuable as we head into free agency. Graded out +14.4 vs the run, which is 9th among all exterior linemen. We just obtained him and are not necessarily in a rush to move him. In fact we're perfectly content keeping him and using his unique skills to mix and match along our DL. But we have our line pretty much established, so we're comfortable moving him for the right price.
Good point. Manziel's "addiction" merely landed him in rehab where he can still return to football, whereas a repeat of Winston's acts of impulse control, poor decision making, defiance to authority, and criminal activity will land him in jail where football temporarily or permanently disowns him.
Manziel was last years Marriota. Overhyped, overrated and not going to be a good pro qb. Some guys have "it" some dont. Marriota has strong character, certainly more then Manziel. If you fused the two together youd have a good NFL QB. Manziel has talent but no brains or leadership...Marriota has mostly brains and leadership and a game thats not tailored to the pros
Let me make you feel better with a little Whitney Houston, because I know you're waiting for the draft to Exhale... Buckeye...Everyone falls...in loves sometimes. (Apparently with Kevin White). Sometimes it's wrong. Sometimes it's right. For every wiiiiin, someone must faaailll. (Looks like it's you).
Haha you know better than that, I still think he is a great guy to build an offense around...just not for me.
So what youre saying is youre hyping him up for someone else to be the sucker and take a player you dont want
I'm not hyping the kid, merely defending him against your relentless attacks. I can promise you I'm not drafting him at 2...but whoever does has a chance to get a special player.
Personally I wouldn't really like that rule. Especially because some people are just much more available than others, and some people barely trade.
That still won't force people to trade with you ;p And trade rules shouldn't come from folks who don't trade much either.
you don't know my history.. only the last couple of years. When I started here, I made the most trades.
You basically just accused GIK of creating an account by the name of LeroyBoss and trading himself a top 10 pick for his backup QB...I hope you stand by these accusations.
Every year there are people that are just easier to deal with. Some people make outrageous offers and some are fair and level headed about it. Some are in the middle.
If people show up regularly in my trades it's because they generally are easier to work with or are more aligned price wise. There are just some folk that I'll never trade with.
That is true. I dont think the majority of people make offers with the intent of a rip off. I think it does happen though. No-one this year actually.
