lol, well last year I think I made one trade which was for Red Bryant, basically got me nowhere. This roster is a mess so I'm trying to fix it up the best I can. Can't win the Gigantic Moves League with just one trade, at least I don't think so... 2/8/15.....Bears fans will never forget
I like Bdog's move. It's hard to get an at least average QB in this league when you don't have one. He shot for the moon. I'm heading in for night shift tonight. So anyone whose awake who want to shoot the crap about trades or make offers etc.....I'll be around. Even if I'm not on the forums I'll know when I get a PM and the moment I can get away from the work side of things I'll get back to you.
No Ashy, Matt Ryan is a winner. Weren't the Falcons 10-6 this year? Or was it 6-10? Drew Brees playoff record: 6-5 Matt Ryan playoff record: 1-4 Drew Brees Super Bowl victories: 1 Matt Ryan Super Bowl victories: 0 (no appearances, either) Not like Ryan had any elite WRs to work with the past few years...oh, wait. UCFFins' guy is clearly a proven winner.
Drew Brees has become quite crabby since he applied for AARP... Matt Ryan is still getting better as he is under 30. The offensive weapons were comparable. Matt Ryan was PFF's 4th rated Passer in 2014 vs Brees being 2nd (I'm sure Brees' 7 extra years in the NFL helped...) Check out the stat comparisons yourself, they put up similar numbers: http://www.nfl.com/stats/headtohead?player1=RYA238179&player2=BRE229498&player3=null&player4=null&position=quarterback&playerOne=Matt+Ryan&playerTwo=Drew+Brees&playerThree=&playerFour= I guess Dan Marino wasn't a great QB because he didn't win any Super Bowls too
What? I simply was pointing out Super Bowls are not a way of judging a QB. Dan Marino was one of the best (if not the best) QB's the ever play the game and he didn't win a Super Bowl. Also comparing the amount of Super Bowls Brees has, who has 7 more seasons in the NFL, compared to Ryan is just ludicrous.
so the bungals gave up dalton, bernard, sanu, dennard and their 2nd,4thand 5th for brees, bailey and a 3rd. thats some day.
Step right up, first 5th rounder offered gets you your choice of Trent Richardson, Shaun Phillips, LaRon Landry, Greg Toler, Ricky Jean-Francois, or Gosder Cherilus. A 3rd gets you Anthony Castonzo or Arthur Jones.
Unbelievable! Ask multiple times about one of the players dealt and get told multiple times he unavailable only to see him dealt for picks and fodder.
got to say, for the first day, a lot of players being moved who I didn't think were necessarily cap casualty types. Many not even listed on trade blocks. Many traded away for less than full value.
I don't know...perceived value and full value are often different. In the NFL trades seem to always fall short of what we think players are worth.
