That's explained almost entirely by the Bills' defense, which was second-best in the league according to the most robust statistics. Orton was considerably worse than Tannehill, and the Bills' single greater win total on the season, despite their much better defense than the Dolphins', is a testament to that. In fact you could easily make the case that the Bills would've been among the best teams in the league if they would've had a quarterback whose performance was among the top 25% of QBs (top 8) in the league, rather than one whose performance was in the bottom third or so.

I dont think people realize just how awful the offense outside of Tannehill was 2 years ago. Miami was DEAD LAST in first downs gained by rushing. Tannehill was the only reason this team was able to move down the field that year. Miami wins 3-4 games that year with Moore. They win around 5 this year with Moore at QB.

Thank You so much for making me relive one of the worst chapters I ever had to watch as a Dolphin fan. My stomach turned once again like it was yesterday

What Dolphin fan did not see that bad punt coming?...hard to describe that feeling when you see the wheels coming off and you ABSOLUTELY know how it is going to end. I had to go back and check. Mare kicked the OT kickoff out of bounds and that was that...then the Jets won and took the division. One of my darkest days as a fan.

Dave "a punt is a good play" and "Fielder has as much upside as Brees" Wannestadt's comments on a Qb.....go coach special teams for someone you bum.

I'm not a Philbin fan, but I'd rather have him or just about any other coach over Wannstedt. I might have to exclude Cam Cameron, he was terrible.

Cameran and Wannstedt has more credentials than Philbin. Where ever they go, they will always be looked at as a defensive or offensive mind. When Philbin gets fired, he will be lucky to sell hotdogs at stadiums. He has zero credentials in every aspect of the game.

His thing is suppose to be offensive line lol and you already know how that is, Tannehill cant dig himself off the ground because of this amazing offensive line.

Just ask Revis what he thinks of Wannstedt he will tell you he's one of the best defensive coaches in the game.

Honestly, I'm impressed he's survived this long behind that abortion of a line.

To me, Wannstache's comments were the least positive of the group. Aside from comparing him to Fiddler, he also questions whether he can beat Tom Brady. Which he's already done a couple of times.

The only thing Wannidiot knows about quarterbacks is that they hand off to the running back three times before its time to punt.

Can everyone remember when we had the opportunity to get Trent Green before he went to Kansas City and Wannstache said, "what can Trent Green do that Fiedler can't". Then Trent Green went on to Kansas City and had three 4000 yard seasons and had a overall completion percentage above 60%

the worst thing that happened to the Dolphins under Wannstedt were the Baltimore Ravens. They won a Super Bowl with GREAT defense...great running with Jamaal Lewis and an average QB with Dilfer. He tried to copy that formula with a GOOD defense not a great one...running Ricky Williams into the ground and having Fiedler do as little as possible

I wish we had a receiver who reminds me of Orande Gadsen.

Wanny set this team back 10 years. The worst coach ever.
