Article states exactly why I paid a third for D'Qwell Jackson. Maybe PFF doesn't like him based on their grading system, but he's a great person, a gamer snd a leader. Actually a great article.

I feel like we are very flexible on both sides of the ball. We wanted to bring in proven talent on offense and strong leaders on defense. D'Qwell has impressed me in that aspect so far. OC Jason Michaels On The Scheme

Well we've made a few key aqcuisitions this offseason. We didn't want to accumulate a bunch of big names, that wasnt our goal. We wanted proven players with the ability to compliment one another.

Andre can do it all at receiver, Torrey can really take the top off a defense and Jordy is a nightmare coming out of the slot for most corners. Most teams aren't lucky enough to have a veteran like Burleson as their number four.

With all the attention on those three guys we feel Antonio Gates snd Frank Gore will be in line for big seasons themselves

Jason Michaels On Joe Flacco

I'm excited to work with Joe. He has the big arm that this offense needs to be successful. Watching the Ravens last season...boy did injuries hurt them. I'd like someone to name me a QB who wouldn't struggle with the worst rated halfback of thr season, a terrible injury decimated line and only one receiving target. We have the system in place here for Joe to be successful.

Ray Horton On Defensive Scheme

We will be running both 4-3 and 3-4 looks. We have a lot of flexibility on this side of the ball. Brooks Reed can play LB or shift down to DE in certain situations. Same for Dumervil who can play both roles. We go three safeties deep, four if Adrian is healthy. Don't be shocked to see Earl Wolff playing Nickel Linebacker in obvious pass downs. We are very physical at corner so you'll see a lot of press coverages. On the defensive line we have the #4 rated edge rusher of 2013 and the #4 overall DT. Babin and Gilberry aren't slouches either coming off the end.

What impresses me the most though is leadership. We've got at least four guys on this defense who take that role seriously. Between D'Qwell, Rahim, Elvis and Bernard you know there is going to be accountability. In my opinion nothing is more important defensively than being accountable for your role.

4th Round (100): James White - HB

Strengths
Controlled mover with a low center of gravity. Good vision, balance and short-area burst. Shifty runner -- cuts efficiently and jukes tacklers. Shows competitive speed. Finishes runs. Willing blocker in pass protection. Takes care of the football -- fumbled just twice in 754 career touches. Has kickoff-return experience. Tough and competitive. Good football aptitude. Highly respected by teammates and coaches.

Weaknesses
Played in an offense that helped inflate his production. Undersized with exceptionally short arms and small hands. Run strength is just adequate. Limited power to move the pile or bust through tackles. Lacks bulk strength to stymie blitzers. Was never a feature back, splitting carries with Broncos 2013 second-rounder Montee Ball as a junior and Melvin Gordon as a senior.

4th Round (111): Daniel McCullers - NT

STRENGTHS: Despite his inexperience, McCullers' size and ability to disrupt things from the middle often made him the focus of an opponent's blocking scheme. Has been double-teamed on most snaps and has even seen triple-team blocks often. Despite the attention, McCullers' size and strength make him tough to move in the running game. He plays with better leverage than one might expect given his frame, holding up well inside and sliding off blockers to handle two-gap responsibilities when playing the 3-4 nose guard. He was equally impressive against the run when Tennessee switched to a four-man front in 2012.

WEAKNESSES: While McCullers' is tough against the run, he offers little in terms of a pass rush. He certainly has the strength to simply push opponents into the pocket but possesses below average foot-quickness and lateral agility.

4th Round (128): Christian Kirksey - LB

STRENGTHS: Boasts a lanky, lean frame with long arms and legs, and demonstrates nice fluidity and agility in space. Versatile athlete who was used a lot to cover the slot in nickel coverage, and demonstrated quick hips to turn and run with receivers and tight ends stride for stride. Explosive first step coming downhill, and uses his length to keep him clean in pursuit. Demonstrates nice physicality when playing up at the line of scrimmage, maintaining active hands and a willingness to engage bigger blockers.Despite his thinner frame, he uses leverage well with a flexible lower half and good arm extension to hold ground against the run in the trenches. Nice agility moving laterally to either side, and takes good angles to the sidelines against the run. Can stop and start with quickness.

WEAKNESSES: Isn't always disciplined to maintain his gap and will over-pursue at times against the run. Drops his head too often as a tackler, particularly up near the line of scrimmage. Although improved, he can still be off-and-on in terms of run instincts as he appears to diagnose before the snap, at times, while reacting late in others

5th Round (134): Lamin Barrow - LB

STRENGTHS: Barrow looks the part of a big-time prospect at linebacker. He's possesses broad shoulders and a tapered frame, long arms and is athletic.

WEAKNESSES: Barrow is a better athlete than football player, at this point, as he fails to wrap his arms securely too often. Barrow isn't the classic hit-lift-drive, violent tackler, but rather he prefers to grab ahold of the ballcarrier and wrestle them to the ground.

5th Round (149): Connor Shaw

Strengths
Fine touch and accuracy. Very good mobility and movement in the pocket. Tough and gritty competitor. Produced a rare 24-1 TD-INT ratio as a senior and cut down on mental mistakes that characterized his play earlier in his career. Workaholic, gym rat. Extremely determined. Vocal presence. Smart and instinctive -- is the son of a coach and understands football concepts. Plays through pain. Has a 27-5 career starting record, has rallied his team to victory off the bench and carries a calm, confident, poised field presence. Mentally and physically tough. Three-year starter in the SEC.

Weaknesses
Is undersized and injury-prone with multiple foot and shoulder injuries. Played in a non-traditional, gimmicky offense featuring many simple reads and has a tendency to birddog his primary target. Operated heavily out of the shotgun and mechanics will require seasoning. Average arm strength -- does not generate velocity on the move and comes up short on the deep ball. Can be too jittery vs. pressure and quick to tuck and run.

7th Round (218): James Wilder Jr

STRENGTHS: Explodes out of his cuts and runs with both power and determination. Flexible with twitchy moves and natural bend to lower his pads to take on contact, showing tremendous body control to contort his frame and keep the play alive. Runs with purpose and leg drive, rarely going down at first contact, and sees the field well to anticipate holes and hit it with forward lean, always getting positive yardage. Will utilize a good stiff-arm to slip would-be tackles.Often played his best in the Seminoles' biggest games.

WEAKNESSES: Shared carries while at Florida State, having never been the system's true featured back, so there are some questions as to whether he can be a feature runner at the next level and stay durable, especially with his physical run style (shoulder/concussion issues in 2013). Handful of run-ins with the law during his FSU career.
