I actually have no problem with the kid doing dumb crap...my issue is how public he is about it and how he doesn't handle his job first.

Nor would I but its because I don't think he has the skill set to be an NFL QB. His off field issues just make any risk/reward not worth it.

I did enjoy Josh Gordon's statement in regards to his recent positive test for alcohol.

 

The Lions are happy to announce the hiring of an entirely new coaching staff. We did not really want to let Teryl Austin go because we thought he did a fantastic job last year with our defense, but when we fired Jim Caldwell we had to fire the entire staff and when we saw Gus Bradley on the market, we couldn't resist going after one of the best defensive minds in the game. We think Adam Gase is a rising star, but he is young and this is his first HC job so we made sure to hire two experienced elite coordinators in Bradley and Dirk Koetter, who has done a fantastic job in Atlanta. We look forward to seeing what these three bright minds can do together in Detroit.
