Never said it was just the OL although they stunk.

If all you are seeing is stats trending upward and lack of points in important games, then you are ignoring an incredible amount of the skills and actions required by a QB.

It is a team game. Go back and watch one of those games. Tell me who the best performing player on the offense is for each of those games. I am very curious to see whom you choose.

Name anyone outside of Wilson that has nearly as crappy as an OL that Miami's mostly had the last 2 years.

Actually our tackle situation was great the first 8 games and the interior was enough to get by. Injuries turned it back to 2013 the last 8 games. Fix the interior and depth and this OL might be finally something we can be happy with and provides Tanny some actual protection.

I love it, it's a team game when we don't put up points but when we beat a bad team like Minnesota, its ALL RT17, forget the team.

Lamar Miller. How you would want to say Tannehill when only 7 points were scored is interesting.

It is really hard to say because I see other QB's side step the pressure, move up in the pocket, run....... Tannehill stands in same spot until sacked.

Other QB's usually have some sort of a pocket to move within though to side step pressure, or move up... jeez

part of me just hates the NFL for this.... every discussion is ALWAYS around the QB because the rules change made his role disproportional (IMO) and so, in every board around the league is the same thing, endless discussions about the QB (with the same logical fallacies too) that go around in circles ...
maybe it's me just getting older (and over-valuing the things of my past), but I so much prefered the football of my youth, when you could win even without some freaking almost perfect stats-machine (that you almost are not allowed to tackle anymore) and when QB was really more about leadership, being unbelievably tough, representing the cohesive point of the offense, than just passing the ball without any error at all... but as I said, maybe I am romanticizing the whole thing

sorry for the rant and the bad English

Your not wrong. It's why I think we are better than the bills. Ideally the bills are better than us almost everywhere except qb. Which means, in this league, we're better.

Qb is everything. I don't think the packers are that great. I don't think the colts are either. But their qbs are, thus they both made it to the championship games

I"m all for locking him up now to a long term, heavily incentive laden contract. I think that will appeal to Tanny. If the plays great he gets paid great. If he's mediocre he gets paid mediocre.
