Yes, the Pro Bowl is a joke, I know.

However, I can't help but feel a little miffed that a guy who had 850 rushing yards, 8 rush TD's, 4.7 avg, 34 receptions, 324 yards, 2 TD's got into the Pro Bowl over Lamar Miller who had 1,099 rushing yards, 8 rush TD's, 5.1 avg, 38 receptions, 275 yards, 1 TD.

This is why this game is a complete joke. The failures to recognize the truly better players. It's not the 'Pro Bowl Game' that we once knew a long time ago, it's the 'Name Recognition Game' now, and this will be another year I skip out watching this pointless game. Sorry to rant. I just feel one of our guys got overlooked for a 'glamorous' Denver Bronco's player.

I'm not disagreeing, but its long been the case that players on more sucessful and/or popular teams get in first.

I understand man, but it's not even just Lamar Miller that got overlooked, Jeremy Hill and Eddie Lacy are also better candidates then Anderson. I feel Anderson made it in because he plays for one of the NFL's 'golden teams' in Denver. I hate this game already, I probably wouldn't have watched either way. Its the principle im upset about. This garbage stat line made it to the Pro Bowl and didn't deserve it but since he played for the Bronco's it was probably a big reason why he got in.

That's fine too, i'm sure a lot of people would, doesn't take away the FACT that Lamar Miller had a better year and was more deserving to make it in the Pro Bowl.

Well, something has to be up with that, he must of turned it down because I can't see any way that they would put Mark Ingram or C.J. Anderson without at least asking Forte first. It's a shame them 2 RB's got in over Lacy, Hill and Miller. All 3 of those guys had better years statistically then Anderson and Ingram.

Well, either way, Anderson and Ingram should of been so far down the list behind Forte, Lacy, Miller, Hill. I have a strange feeling Lacy would of declined invitation and i'm reading an article now that says Forte would of maybe declined if asked. Heres article:http://www.chicagotribune.com/sport...te-pro-bowl-snub-spt-1225-20141224-story.html

Yes, Hill, Lacy, and Forte were more deserving then LM26, but Anderson and Ingram weren't. I wouldn't have had a problem with Hill, Lacy, and Forte getting in over LM26 but Anderson and Ingram getting in over LM26 is just absolutely ridiculous.

Sorry to say it, but CJ was a better RB this season than Miller. Anderson was a more complete RB and he carried the team on his back when Manning suddenly couldn't throw a football anymore.

He started less games than Miller so the stats are deceiving. After given the opportunity, CJ was among the most dominant runners in the league. He fully deserves to be in the pro bowl.

CJ did it in half a season, while shouldering a huge load. That's not Miller's fault, but we don't know if he'd have the same ypc with 30 carries, and in fact the stats suggest otherwise.

Pro Bowl is a game that was made to celebrate players STATS. IDC, if Anderson had a few good games, Miller put together a better SIXTEEN GAME SEASON then Anderson. Something should be said for that. It's also a little outlandish to say CJ Anderson carried that team, they have freaking Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders as all around threats on that offense. Miller also had a better YPC so your argument is kind of weak.

The better teams get more players in. We are a disappointment and the our players wont be getting any individual awards because of it.

    Weak?

The guy started the last 7 games and took the league by storm.

He had 3 TD against the Bills in a 24-21 win. That's all of the TDs by the way..

In the last 4 games of the season he had 7 TD. Manning had 3!!!!!

How in the hell is DT and Sanders even in the conversation if Manning isn't? Manning sucked for the last month of season. CJ carried that team. It all started against us ironically.

Pro Bowl is pointless. I'd rather it didn't exist. Worthless game. If anything they should just play touch football or a bunch of mini games. Anything to minimise the risk of injury.

My question to you is: Since when is it acceptable for a RB that had 850 rushing yards be able to make it to the Pro Bowl? CJ isn't the first RB to put together a good 5-6 game stretch and not make it, typically RB's like that don't make it in, they have to prove themselves the following year in a FULL 16 GAME SEASON! LM26 would of had 1400 with Peyton, Demaryius, and Sanders on the offense because those guys are THREATS!! I mean its a tad ridiculous that a guy who had a few good games got in. Point blank period. Especially over Forte, Lacy, Hill, Miller who were all more deserving and had over 1000 yards rushing.

Yes it is, and now that a RB who had 850 rushing yards getting in over 4 guys who had over 1000 just makes it seem even more pointless, I guess next year a guy with 700 rushing yards will be acceptable to make it in Pro Bowl.

That's what it appears unless we get told otherwise. No conclusive evidence that he declined yet. But, I guess 850 rush yards (Anderson) and 995 rush yards (Ingram) are more of an accomplishment then what Forte, Lacy, Hill, and Miller did. All them guys had more rush yards/total yards then Anderson and Ingram. It's ridiculous.

Miller never had 20 carries in any game. He had the one huge game at the end of the season that bloated his stats. His overall stats were pretty average all year and his team didn't use him much.

You can make a case for Hill and Forte. Both deserve to be in the pro bowl. I have no issue with Anderson getting picked over Miller.

CJ took the opportunity that he was given and made the most of it. He was one of the success stories of 2014.

As far as Forte, and Hill go, well that argument is valid and the fans of the Bears, and Bengal should be pissed. I'm on the fence on Lacy.

Once again, a guy with 850 rush yards just got in. That's horrible. I'm done arguing with you. Your trying to make a case for a guy who started 8 games this season, 5 of em that were actually good games.

P.S. His 3 TD game against Buf... he had a 2.8 ypc that game. Once again, your wrong. Miller deserved it more..

He carried the team against Buffalo. Manning had 173 yds. 0 TD and 2 INT. Thomas and Sanders combined for 6/67 0 TD.

The dude started the last 7 games and played great. Not a big deal that he got in. He's a good player. Miller just didn't get used enough by his own team to get in. Had he been used more then maybe he makes it. Miller's stats are not great over the course of a 16 game season. Anderson was a more impressive player.

I like where Miller is headed. If he can prove to be a workhorse back then we have something in him. He ran much better in space this season. That 97 yd run is something we've all been waiting for since he was drafted.

Im sorry but to say that a player with less yards and a significantly lower ypa had a more impressive season is just asinine. Just completely goes against everything Ive known about the ypa stat.

Lamar Miller never carried the ball more than 20 times a game. CJ's rushing splits are pretty consistent from 1-10, 11-20, 21-30 all hovering around 5 ypc give or take.

Is anyone today, taking Miller over CJ Anderson straight up?

Thats not the point.. The Pro Bowl was a game that used to celebrate players with good stats. We now officially have a guy who ran for 850 yards in the Pro Bowl, its a shame and represents exactly how the Pro Bowl is viewed by fans now, A JOKE! Forte, Hill, Miller, Gore, and Lacy were all more deserving for that spot.

Deceiving stat. Miller had a 97 yd TD in the second half of the last game of the season. That one run put his avg from 4.7 to 5.1 yd/carry. CJ simply had a better body of work once he was starting. Miller had mostly mediocre games all year long.

I would love to argue in favor of our players but in this case there was no injustice done to Miller.
